I call this anime a crash course in geopolitics and economics. The anime asks some very familiar questions. Why are there wars? Who desires wars if it brings so much suffering? How do we stop wars?

Honestly I only know these series only after the anime have aired, so I guess I wasn't as hyped as those who read the novels/mangas that came previously. Unfortunately, I did lose interest about halfway through probably episode 8 ish. Both the Hero and the Maoyuu to me felt like they had too much deus ex machina…
