It seems that io9 will never stop pushing this narrative that “people now love the prequels.” No they do not. They love what has been built off the prequels, but the prequels are straight garbage and that has never changed.

You’re looking for a logical throughline in a place where it is neither present nor welcome.
Yes. Basically that is it.
I love how you spend SO much time saying it’s not a problem that there are females in the Star Wars universe, yet you don’t actually level a SINGLE complaint or criticism about this specific show you’ve called “trash bin.” It’s almost like you haven’t seen it, you don’t care to see it, and you are so triggered by a…
It’s like goddamn Mad Libs with these people.
The first time I rode it, I had to do the virtual queue nonsense where you mash a button in the app right at opening to get a reserved time to come back, but these days it’s not that hard to get on, even without paying for the lightning lane nonsense. You either make a beeline to it early in the morning, or you go…
You see how this whole article is structured, right? It begins - literally the opening sentence - by acknowledging this could be an “embarrassing gap in our knowledge”, then I repeatedly mock myself for reporting 23-year-old news throughout, and then finish by mocking us again by suggesting we’ll report on a Wii egg…
That’s fair, if you think the person is talking about life in general. But as I’ve gotten older, I’ve found I have less patience for hard games. If I’m lucky, I get a couple of hours of leisure time a night, and it sucks to realize I took that precious time and chose to use it being frustrated.
It’s a good show regardless of the source material. I’ve read the Foundation novels and the show is more of a reimagining of them with a few fan service plot points and using a rough ROUGH plot arc. And that’s fine, it’s its own thing.
It’s almost like Star Wars has been largely a kids property for decades or something.
I will say that yes, you’re right, the plot of TLJ is dependent on what was established in TFA. So yeah, screw JJ too lol.
4) Ben Solo destroyed the New Jedi Order
It was a very dumb way to handle such a prestigious trilogy.
FWIW A New Hope gives:
Thank you, I hate the consensus some fans have that Johnson should have gone 100% opposite of the logical conclusion he came to with the setup he had from Abrams.
I think I’m right at the end, I just made it to the sixth location and none more data is required. I’m pretty sure I know what I have to do now, it’s pretty daunting! I just took a break right now, going to see what happens soon!
Came here to say the same! I finally beat it about a month ago, and damn, the feels
Dang, no Outer Wilds, Kotaku’s game of the year for 2019? Aww ::(
Instead of complaining about which games made their top 20 list, I’m going to complain about the number of games on their top 20 list.
Thank you for your service.
