I've had my A4 for nearly a year now and have had nothing but regularly scheduled maintenance on it with the exception of a small rattle in the sunglasses holder that was fixed in under an hour.

As a 2012 A4 owner (and I have driven a 2013 A6 as a loaner) I can attest that Audi has no idea how to do cup holders. However, I love pretty much everything else about the car.

Future car design. It was one of the first easily "chipped" cars. It offered sophisticated (for the time) sequential fuel injection and one of the first smaller forced induction motors that could compete with the big V8's in an American car.

Drive one. Or at least drive a Grand National and then imagine how much better a GNX is. Or work on one and see how cheap and easy they are to make fast. Also, you have to appreciate it's huge influence on cars down the line. Easily modified ECU (unheard of at the time). Turbocharged "muscle car." And so on.

It makes me sad that Wal-mart money bought a GTO.

So what's it going to take to get them to do a re-print? Perhaps if enough Jalops committed to a preorder? Anyone else interested in making this happen?

Audi RS6 Avant.

In his defense he does say it's wrapped (Disclaimer: I live in Texas and know absolutely zero about snow except that it's cold, slippery and made of frozen water.)

I stand corrected.

If you think the US is a police state, check out the UK. Cameras on every corner.

Thanks!

Nice. It's too bad Chris isn't still around as I am sure he would have made an excellent roommate (or is that vanmate?)

I have been saying that for years.

No problem!

You know, a creepy guy who hides in the shadows and watches but doesn't really participate.

You're quite welcome. I have always said when it comes to expensive cars: you can live in a car but you can't drive a house (motorhomes notwithstanding).

Thanks so much everyone! This is quite unexpected. I've been a lurker for years and have really only commented consistently since the Austin F1 meetup. Quite the honor.

Thanks! I look forward to the delivery.

Jason, I just have to say that this line really stuck with me:
