This is precisely the very reason why I will never speak out against his stans, in spite of my having no use for him whatsoever.

1. I'm cynical enough to believe that this F-lister manufactured this tired-ass controversy to get some shine since bearding for Seacrest didn't work out as well as she'd hoped.
80s era fashion throwbacks? Check.
Sister Perri is threatening to sue over the 'unfair' portrayal of her, though both Chilli and T-Boz stated that this was the sanitized version of the shit that she (and her ex-hubby) pulled.
1. I'm so glad that this movie provided me with the opportunity to relive the music and style that made my tween/teen years so great. It reminded me of how much I miss the era when wearing baggy clothes wasn't an automatic strike against your femininity, safe sex wasn't considered to be an outdated notion in pop…
If they were smart, they'd add him on full-time.
All I know is that they better not fall prey to fixing the cast that isn't broken.
Psst... not sure if you've got cable, but FX is giving a marathon this Saturday starting at 1PM...
Is John Cho officially on the show or just stopping in from time to time?
Well, I'll just go ahead and say it: I am digging Sleepy Hollow - something that I'd never thought I'd say since I haven't gotten into anything into anything related to the tale since I was in grade school. The fact that the female lead is a strong, competent, intelligent, and witty Black female character who…
All I'll add to my initial statement (which I stand by) that I'm glad that Rashida Jones is smart enough to get it and isn't subscribing to some bullshit version of feminism in order to come across as more palatable to today's dumbed-down culture.
I see nothing wrong with what she said. Too many folks are concerned with offending those bootleg "feminists" (who bastardize the true values of feminism that never cosigned this fuckery) that they allow trifling behavior/demeanor to go on unchecked. I may not be a fan of hers, but Rashida Jones earns major points…
Next time someone mentions the good ol' days of the 80s when all movies were great, I shall serve up that movie as a rebuttal.
Crocodile Dundee out-grossed Aliens?
Hey, far be for me to downplay fish-out-of-water flicks (since I enjoy them as well), but Crocodile Dundee sure pales in comparison to those other flicks that you listed (yes, even Splash).
I'll give you guys INXS, Men at Work, and Midnight Oil, but Crocodile Dundee's success (as well as the fact that it had two [?] sequels) has me stumped.
So, I watched Crocodile Dundee the other day for the first time ever and I am perplexed as to how that flick became the 2nd highest-grossing flick of 1986. Anyone who was old enough to see this shit in the theatres back then, please clue me in...
Never thought I'd say this (since his show & Delilah's run neck and neck as a reason to want to be stabbed repeatedly with a spork when I was a kid), but I am honestly saddened to hear that Casey Kasem is gravely ill and will probably shed a tear when he passes away.
That goes to show how stupid that name was, as I truly didn't understand the punchline behind "fartone".
1. Seeing that wedding pic of a gray Greg Louganis made me feel old as fuck - especially when I remember the brouhaha surrounding his being HIV+. Nevertheless, I'm happy that he's become another statistic of a person who finds love and happiness in spite of those odds.
