Jane Toussaint strikes again, I see...
Jane Toussaint strikes again, I see...
Frankly, this is the only person that comes to mind when I see Cookie.
Especially those that are taught to cater to their third-wave feminist hipster sensibilities.
Though Denise has and always will be my favorite Huxtable (her style gave me life as a little girl), Lilakoi needs to stop faking the funk and cop to the fact that ADW got better after she (Marisa Tomei, Loretta Devine, and the chick that played Millie) left / got fired.
For some asinine reason, some are feebleminded enough to (choose to) not understand that:
Just like Judd and his ilk get off on their hypocritical indignation about Bill Cosby, Mr. Barris, I, and many others will continue to call them out with every bit of Black self-righteousness.
More than you'll ever know.
Hands-down one of my favorite movies of all time. And yes, Katharine Parker will always be that chick.
1994 was such a magical year in Black music, what with proud Black female entertainers doing their thing on wax and in video.
Though I've chosen not to shit on Raven (since I think that she's truly clueless, rather than a proud rac), I'm pretty much >here< with you when it comes to post-racial Negroes going out of their way to claim anything but.
Side-eyeing you for ranking Mary Anne below the likes of Mallory.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, if she were white, this chick would've enjoyed a Gwyneth Paltrow / Kate Hudson level of superstardom - especially given her pedigree and superior sense of style.
Couldn't agree more, though I'll add that it'd be hypocritical to condemn someone of another race to date the same way as I did (within my race).
Just wanted to drive by and applaud this, though the majority here isn't even trying to hear this kernel of truth.
Thank you and condolences to you as well. My heart goes out to you and I, too, hope that your grandmother is in a better place as well.
I'm very sorry to hear that, as my condolences go out to you as well. I'd like to think that your father is in a better place as well because that's what I've been trying to do to get me through the day.
Hmm, it's funny (translation: predictable) how folks are rolling out the RIP red carpet for this unrepentantly racist shitstain…
Well, that and the fact that my aunt passed away after a 2-year battle with pancreatic cancer a couple of weeks ago. Needless to say, this summer is ranking up there as the worst ever for me.
Considering that this is the same chick that rode the wave of Secret Squirrel's VMA attention-whore moment to the hilt, I'm not surprised that she's opting to travel down the same race-baiting path as Macklemore Cyrus.
T'is a consequence of this new millennial post-racial society.
