Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand, that's a wrap!

Oh, trust me... this isn't the first time that this sort of fuckery has appeared around these parts, nor will it be the last.

You know that you are making far too sense much up in this thread, right?

It's not about putting someone down to make another feel better, IMO. It's about pointing out the obvious and why People Magazine shouldn't be getting a pat on the back for upholding a standard that has been going strong for as long as integrated modern Hollywood has existed.

I'd say that Taraji surpasses Halle acting-level wise, but that's neither here, nor there. As far as a Black woman that has made a big splash over the last year, there's no other reason (other than the obvious) that Viola Davis couldn't have gotten that Most Beautiful cover.

Taraji is, in fact, browner with broader features than People's cover girl. While she and Zoe Saldana are more similar in complexion, mainstream America will rank Zoe above Taraji because she is "exotic" (i.e.: a Black woman that is the product of two non-African American parents) while Taraji is just a "plain ol'

She certainly is. (Her style's not too shabby, either.)

Taraji certainly is a stunning lady and I think that she looks better than ever. When people speak of 'girl next door' beauty, she's the first person that comes to mind because she makes it look so easy.

Sweetheart, I know plenty about genetics. Perhaps, you should learn you something about paper bag politics instead of attempting to school me on heredity.

That's exactly what this is, which is why this isn't and shouldn't be acknowledged as a groundbreaking occasion.

Thank you................................. :)

It says that things are business as usual.

Handler may be a "cable TV cunt", but she is well within her right to assess Angelina Jolie based on what her behavior has shown her - just as we are well within our rights to agree/disagree with Handler.

Oh, I don't think that Handler is intelligent or witty in any shape or form, but she right on the money about determining someone's personality via observation of their behavior. If someone's actions are in complete opposition of one's values, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that both people aren't

I'm honestly on Team No One, but I am one of those people who will side-eye the hell out of a woman who doesn't have any female friends.

I don't see how this is different than saying that you can determine who to and not to date via observation.

I can imagine the rioting behind that news...

You're right about Liz working to prove everyone wrong about her being "just a movie star".

I've never seen her as Elizabeth Taylor - was she really un-cringeworthy?

You'd better patent that idea before someone else steals it and makes a ton of money off of it.
