Sorry, but I couldn't get past one chick forgiving the other chick that was supposed to be her best friend for purposely attempting to seduce her boyfriend out of revenge because said BFF found God.

"...at its heart it's a show about female friendship"
That show is one of the reasons why I started going to brunch in the first place.
Gloria Steinem just pinpointed the main reason why I unapologetically adore Sex and the City. Underneath all the designer duds was a show about four women who were the best of friends and were always there for one another - something that I can never get enough of seeing on my screen.
I mean, really?
Call it me wistful about the memory of Whitney, but I'd like to think that even he knows what line he shouldn't cross.
While I don't have it in me to ever defend the shit that he puts out, I certainly am not going to knock him for reaching out to Whitney's family. The man certainly didn't have to lend out his resources, but he is and I will commend him for that.
Indeed.
I like to think that we're renting the same brain. ;)
I haven't seen any of the man's movies, but like I said previously - I will treat him the same way that I treat any woman-beater: with nothing but scorn.
1. As much as I roast Tyler Perry for the crap that he continually shits out, I must say that this is very wonderful of him to do for Ms. Houston and her family.
Touché, RotH. As was done with Michael Fassbender, I shall file Glen Campbell in my mental Rolodex to use in the (near, I suspect) future.
Zing!
Ah, this all comes full circle now. Thank you for filling in the blanks to a link that another Jezzie provided to me last week.
Just learned about Glen Campbell this morning and found it typical that nary a peep was said about him knocking Tanya Tucker's teeth out while plenty keystrokes were spent on pearl-clutching rants about Ike Brown.
I am actually shocked to hear this.
"I don't blame Bobbie Brown for her addictions. Whitney's addictions were her own. And she continued to feed them long after she and Brown divorced and separated."
I dont blame her - that was a tall order that she had to live up to on such short notice.
I wonder if he feels the same about Elton John, as he, too, played in Sun City in the late 80s.
