Don’t blame Kinja. This isn’t the fault of software. This is the fault of some shithead who doesn’t care or respect visitors to any Gawker-related site.

Feel free to be NSFW -in- the article. The homepage of Kotaku should not have blatant nudity, regardless of the opinion of any one author.

I’ve been browsing, starring, and commenting on every post like this I see. The utter disrespect by not censoring the thumbnail on a page that is traditionally worksafe is pretty fucking disgusting. Just one more thing pushing me away from visiting, even though I generally like Kotaku and Io9.Gizmodo.

The lack of any mosaic or other censor on the thumbnail is utterly disgusting. People have breaks at work. They’re legally mandated in many cases. During those breaks, many office workers are free to browse worksafe content as they see fit. Kotaku, where I actually saw this picture, has always used the fish censor to

People have breaks. Don’t be mad because you don’t have an office job. If I’m on a law-mandated break at work, browsing Kotaku — which has always had the good ol’ fish-censor — I should expect any thumbnail for an article cross posted to that site to be censored as well. It’s called respect, ya rude shit.

Can this not be a featured article picture on Kotaku? Some of us have legitimate downtime or breaks at work where we browse the site, and this with no NSFW filter? No mosaic on the thumbnail? I get if I click the article, but seriously?

The disrespect, here. It’s real.

Headlines are so ridiculously spoiler-ridden now. Five hours after the last episode of Game of Thrones aired, Yahoo had an article randomly nested in the new stories section with the title “[ACTUAL CHARACTER NAME] RETURNS, HERE’S WHAT IT MEANS FOR [ACTUAL CHARACTER NAME.]”

Then in the small bit of headline text shown,

People respect China for anything other than their complete government control and corruption?

Have you used it for more than a brief test? I thought the same thing too, but after regularly using the Xbox One controller, it’s painful going back to my 360 controllers. Literally painful. The sticks feel like a joke, short and stubby. The Dpad is laughable. And the overall shell feels bulky and almost like a

Yes, because -another- Android “console” counts.

When your console and controller together are cheaper than an Xbox One controller, even the Elite or whatever it is called, you’ve got one clear sign of poorly made junk.

The Elite controller is likely heavier than both components here.

“but maybe the only store actually...”

No no no, this is a knockoff Chinese Android

I bought a GTX 680 FTW+ with 4GB of RAM in January of 2013 for just shy of $600. I get great frames in almost everything I play, 1080p, max or close to it settings. The worst frames I get are in Xaviant games because they are incompetent developers (20 FPS in Battlemage Lichdom, less in The Culling) and Far Cry 3/4

Uggghhhh, these weird graphics.

My mother left my father when I was three to live with a man she met playing cards online, and bounced back and forth between them for a few years, telling me everything she could to twist my opinion of my father and trust in her more. She convinced me to let her boyfriend of 13 years (wouldn’t marry because of

I think you just listed every JRPG on the console, sans Eternal Sonata.

I really don’t think the Xbox market is huge on JRPGs, not surprised they haven’t made them backwards compatible, especially if they didn’t sell very well the first time around. I’m even shocked that FFXV is coming to the One.

When people recommend aerobic exercises for weight loss, I facepalm so hard.

Aerobic exercises build heart health, that’s really about it when it comes to benefits. Anaerobic exercise generally burns more calories, builds muscle, and helps increase your BMR, all things you want for weight loss.

At the end of the day

Not sure why you find it reasonable to insult those with ADHD for needing to find alternative learning methods, but continue on, I suppose.

I’ll just be over here with my ADHD, consorting with the rest of my generation, figuring out how our ADHD can further undermine your world view.

I’d be too damn afraid to enjoy that view. Whenever I’m in a skyscraper or moderately tall building, I’m terrified to stand close to the outside/wall window, with this irrational fear that the side of the building will crumble off and I’ll fall out of it.

The dumbest shit. That view is awesome.

“They need better security methods. There are far easier ways to do this. Like to verify a item you put up/bought, have it call a phone number and give you a code (or something like that). So even if you don’t have a cell, you can still do the process.”

You think what you just described is easier, or more secure, than

This is why we can’t have nice things.

That’s literally his role in Overwatch. To be the generic every-shooter-man to bridge the gap from Call of Duty to Overwatch.
