Why do you play games if you don’t like fail states? Shit, go read a book or watch a movie. Don’t try to learn an instrument though, you might miss a note and lose all your progress in the song.

The Souls series is not -hard-. It’s challenging. It’s unforgiving. If you can’t get into that, that’s fine. But the Souls series is no Ninja Gaiden.
“Waaah, why doesn’t the internet cater specifically to me?”
There, I fixed your post.
I immediately knew I’d see you defending this game because of your fox “affinity” and rather unfortunate profile picture.
Yeah, I grew up with the early 90's Spider Man animated series, and he’s always been one of my favorite villains. Just seemed bad ass, and his gauntlets were damn cool. I even dig the pattern on his costume. Seems smart to have a quilted gambeson-like costume with those gauntlets, and gives him a very distinguishable…
That inadvertently makes it sound god-awful, lol. It still blows my mind to see how well loved Twilight Princess is. I bought a Wii at launch for it, hated it, just hated it. Got rid of it about 10 hours in.
Couple years later, had a girlfriend who was obsessed with modern Zelda (my interest in the series ended after…
The truest of first-world problems, hahahahaha
“when it comes to FPS games traditional controls aren’t even close to being as good as motion controls”
Yeah, I’m gonna have to say nah on that one. The wiimote was horrible with FPS games. Prime gets a pass because it really isn’t a traditional shooter, even then I’d still prefer the original control scheme. Hell, the…
Silky smooth PC release?
I have an i5 3570k, a GTX 680 with 4GB of RAM that is OC’ed pretty heavily, 16GB of RAM, and all of my games are loaded onto an SSD.
That game barely gets 20 FPS on low for me, and it’s a pretty common issue. It’s horribly optimized and many of the settings have no impact on performance —…
This millennial feels exactly the same; poor punctuation and grammar usage makes one look horribly ignorant, regardless of setting or conversational platform.
I have most of my friends list on “Restricted.” I think six people see my posts at this point. And they’re all people I talk to on a very regular basis. I also make it a point to add no one I currently work with, anyone I’ve ever reported to, or my wife’s family.
Work contacts go to LinkedIn, my wife’s family gets to…
“Huhuhuh, no doubt, no doubt. Huhuhuh, too true, too true. Huhuhuh, you got that right.”
-Me talking to a super racist customer during a support ticket so I still get a good survey score
You have fifteen friends?
Not Locust anymore. They’re called The Swarm, and that’s all we know.
Why can’t a game have stylized art in 2016? Why do they have to look like “real people” as you’ve put it? Why do you think The Last of Us should change the way every game is approached?
It sounds like you’re confusing your personal taste for subjective quality. I’m not a huge Gears fan, but I can see why fans love the…
Yep. I hate the “gamer” aesthetic. One of the reasons I use dedicated hardware, along with price and quality.
Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pros, SMSL SD-793II DAC/headphone amp, and a Blue Yeti microphone. Altogether, $300 for professional quality stuff. If you weren’t so worried about the headphones, you could also go with…
Damn, bruh.
It’s a choice, alright.
Could you imagine if MGSV had a story that was worth paying attention to? (Disclaimer: this comes as a huge MGS fan. I mean, I even have a FOX tattoo.)
Really though, online-only games have their place. Overwatch doesn’t need a single player campaign, it isn’t designed for that. I’d rather have my $40 fantastic online…
Realistic? You mean still falling around like a drunken fool when you’re at the highest skill level in that game, yeah?
