I can see what you’re saying. The other way would be for Katniss to tell the other characters what she is thinking and feeling which would of course undermine the self-reliant nature of her personality and change the character from the book. It’s an interesting conundrum. We’ll have to see how they play it in the film…

They added Spike to Angel because Buffy was cancelled and James Marsters needed a job. I reiterate zero seasons of Spike. Plus his character was turned into a neutred puppy compared to season 2.

A common mistake! Actually it was Angel. After all there are five seasons of a show called 'Angel' not 'Spike'.
