Loved the V6 when I had it (less so the car) but Toyota hasn’t offered one in the RAV4 since the 2012 model year. Since the latest generation it’s just been 4-cylinders with a hybrid version for the most power output.
My sentiments exactly. On top of an oil-burning powertrain option premium price, diesel fuel often costs a fair amount more than regular unleaded. With the old VW/Audi “Clean Diesel” cheating firmly in memory, their Jetta Sportwagen/A3 Sport duo claims (claimed?) a whopping 42 highway. Color me disappointed.
