Affordable monthly pays to rent a car you otherwise couldn’t afford like Volvo’s subscription service which INCLUDES maintenance and insurance and pretty much everything but gas? 10/10 excellent idea.

This is utterly pointless and a waste of money. If someone isn’t hearing/looking at the loud and blinking seatbelt sign on the dash, they are certainly not looking at the belt buckle itself. I can’t even remember the last time I looked at the buckle when buckling up. This just added a bunch of needless cost and that

I used to be like you. I have 2 mini coopers. Then I drove a slightly lifted (leveled) GMC 2500 with 33’s and it is life changing. Big truck fun honk honk.

Welcome to 2020 were everyone gets mad on others’ behalf despite them not being in the situation themselves

It’s actually very sustainable. Government interference it what will make it unsustainable.

So what’s stopping an Uber driver from getting a job at McDonalds instead? (And driving for Uber in their personal time, like the literal vision of the application when it was made)

You just described what it’s like to have a job. Congrats.

Username checks out

I can’t even tell you how comforting it is to know that some people still have a brain in 2020. Thank you.

I don’t know how Prop 22 is even a thing. Since the conception of Lyft and Uber, they have been super transparent that drivers are meant to do this in their spare time to make extra income. They never advertised it as a job. Then a bunch of drivers thought, nah this is going to be my full time job, and now complain

Do you know how much people are spending on new cars these days?? It’s like 500/month for like a $30,000k car and that doesn’t include insurance or anything. Seriously, do the math

Given the batshit MSRPs on many modern vehicles, these Volvo’s are actually one of the most affordable cars you can buy (or whatever we’re calling this). If all we care about now is monthly payments, at least let’s make them affordable like Volvo here is doing. The $700/month includes so much more here than paying

This car is $10k over priced at every level. So under equipped for what they’re charging. Good luck to everyone who will be taking a bath on these

Ford hands down offers the stupidest engine choices of any truck manufacturer

Orlove you’ve gone full retard with this post. 2035 is already an aggressive time frame, there are so many implications here. Especially when this is just 1 state and not the entire country setting such a goal. To completely ban non-electric cars from being sold new is radical enough as is. You’re also falling into

No they can’t lol the base model is like $10k over priced for its feature set

Alfa can get away with these kinds of grilles, BMW cannot. Also cars don’t even even need giant grilles these days so idk why they continue to make them bigger.

This is a garbage idea but it doesn’t even matter since no one is buying Cadillacs anyways, especially the bigger sedans. You hate to see the trend pop it ugly head in here regardless tho. BMW tried doing this with Apple play and that got quickly shut down.

For a second I thought this was an h3 crossover

Too bad neither of them can brag about a sane price tag
