@zjgz: It's the internet! It's what we do best.

Another fine car lost... *pours one out*

@ZZZYZZZ: My copy from Finalgear's sources is 16x00 - They might have renamed their torrent though.

The episode was top notch, forgetting Hammond's segment at the end. The test proved absolutely nothing, and I would have much preferred seeing that Beetle with the 911's engine bolted in and having a race 'round the test track.

@ZZZYZZZ: Top Gear's website called that Episode #0, I believe.

@The_Phreak: It just finished airing, I believe. If that's true, then they still have some time before a thread is needed.

@darkanimematt: I wasn't being a prick, I was offering some (hopefully) helpful advice. Don't correct someone if you're not 100% positive they're wrong. It's not an issue that you didn't know the word, it's an issue that you assumed it to be a typo and offered your corrective services.

@esp13: Clearly you have never been on a telemarketer's call list. It gets to the point where you answer the phone with foul language, because the phone may ring a dozen or more times in a single day with shit offers and scams.

@Teclys: Here's why: Programming is a skill that can be learned through rote methods. Problem solving is a valuable tool for a programmer, but most of the problem solving is analytical and the fixes are different ways to apply known code/different ways to look at the same code.

Learning the basics of design in a weekend is an impossible task, and articles like this perpetuate the idea that it's not only easy, but software is the answer.

@MyCityScreams: Assumptions assumptions assumptions... I sharpen my own chisels, saws, gouges, and lathe tools. I sharpen my own knives at home too.

The comments on the Telegraph website are ridiculous. People fail to see the humor in James' article.

@Eustace Silly: The reason I said tomato, is because the bread knife is great at cutting things with a tough skin and soft inside. You can get a really nice slice with a bread knife - no hacking involved.

@Vette5885: You haven't seen her recently, have you?

@nandreetta: I'll definitely give him that. I'd love to contact him and at least do some product photography for him though... these look like great knives but the pictures simply don't show it. I'm actually considering putting a set on my wedding registry.

@MyCityScreams: It is snobbish of you to assume that everyone has the time and ability to properly sharpen a knife in order to get it to do something that it was never meant to do. The bread knife is the right tool for the job, and it does tomatoes surprisingly well too.

@FormerlyTheGreatestDriver: Well, technically yes it can be recycled, but it cannot be recycled into a similar performing product, from what I understand. So what you end up with is a product with short fibers and low strength - performance products like cars, bikes, etc. will always be using virgin material.

@dal20402: I really hope not. Carbon fiber is not a recyclable material, and will outlive the usefulness of the car for far too long.
