The problem is the app doesn’t know where you need to be specifcally, just like the Nav system in your car, so you end up on the interstate instead of the pedestrian entry to the Blue line in Chicago or dropped off at the season ticket holder only entrance at a stadium etc.

Basically it is all about recovery time and preventing an avoidable accident, a sudden downdraft would cash the landing plane, if nothing is below it, one plane is involved, if another plane is below it 2 planes and more people are involved, so if there are no planes below it the safer it is.
The FAA defines a near miss as 2 planes within 500 feet of each other in the air.
I spend a lot of times in the Mountains, so I don’t trust Cell data. If you live in a metro area and stick to interstates you don’t have that concern, except when you get to Montana, yeah have old school NAV there.
You must not leave the city or highway, I go many places where Cell data service is terrible or non existant.
But that doesn’t push the NAV info to the Dash or HUD
Yes no more rocketing down the ramp to catch up with 400N traffic. I’ve gotten pretty good at it over the years, making sure I’m right in the middle of my car’s powerband, it is fun.
