Actually the 7s were better for long down hills those were very low friction, you also need very hard wheels for asphalt
Since most of those wheels are very similar to rollerblade wheels, and since I was once young and stupid, I can tell you the issue isn’t the wheels, it’s the bearings, they will heat up and seize over about 35 mph, unless you have the very expensive ones, and those aren’t on your luggage.
