My X-type is too a real Jaguar

It was on last night I’ll just say Joe Biden grinning like a child while doing burnouts in a green Corvettee makes for good TV.

Any car that has had it’s airbag removed “because showcar” is automatically CP in my book.

Here’s the thing the presidential limo doesn’t need to be roomy the President travels at most 40-50 miles in it between the airport and the end location, also the beast weighs a lot and must be capable of performing incredible maneuvers for a vehicle that size so to make it look like an Escalade it would look like a

No the stringers were too far gone for a pattern so I went with factory specs, what I didn’t know was that factory specs and correct craft manufacturing techniques don’t generally match up due to the hand made nature of the boats in general. Or as they say on the forums made with the finest finishing axes.

Because the engine is too high it needs to be lowered.

It is worth noting that Earth Sciences and climate are closely monitored by NOAA do we need 2 agencies doing that job? Just food for thought.

After doing this I have no desire to restore a corvette I can tell you that much.

I drove one 20 years ago as a camp counselor I’ve wanted one since this is a former Sea World boat. Confirmed by a former Correct Craft engineer who has a shop in Panama City Florida and has been an outstanding resource of parts and advice of course he thinks we need to put a four blade prop on it for more speed.

I’ve never driven it I traded a Blazer worth about $400 trade in for it knowing it would be a complete rebuild job, I’ve wanted a nautique for 20 years next year it will be on the water.

Eagle was supposed to be the performance brand equal to Pontiac. Plymouth the bargain brand (in the first years of eclipse based laser you couldn’t get awd in it)

Pulled the engine last weekend and will start shaving the stingers down next week

Most frustrating wrenching experience, I was reinstalling a 454 Marine Engine in my 1985 Ski Nautique, I had removed the engine stripped the interior, ripped out the floors replaced the stringers, floors carpets had the engine and transmission rebuilt, new carpet, new seat covers, 2 years of working coming to an end

It’s installed in the rear and is the reason Corvette taillights are no longer round

That is awesome, what’s shipping from California to Georgia cost?

A used up X-Type has less value than a PT Cruiser, mine had cooling and electrical issues no one would touch it.

You sell it for scrap ask me how I know

Hey that looks like my old one, same wheels and color I wonder if he got it at Carmax like I did.

Yes they sold very few, but they were sold in the states AWD 3.0 Automatics only

I loved mine soldiered on for 11 years and 250,000 was still on it’s original clutch when I replaced. the 2.5 was fine engine and it would run at 90 all day and all night.

There was an RFP for a new Presidential Limo a couple of years ago I don’t think I heard who won the contract.
