Best pole dancer I ever saw was 45 year old stripper, may not be the belle of the ball but still puts on an impressive performance.
That thing is a time capsule NP
I just “Borrwed” Dad’s Eclipse Turbo (Well it was the Plymouth Laser RS Turbo version as he was a Plymouth guy through and through until he bought his first BMW) for the early 90s it was fast car.
I know, my mother wouldn’t let my father get the Turbo
Just going on my families experiance with these beasts, 1988 3.0 150,000 miles no trans issues, 1992 3.3 150,000 miles rebuilt trans at 90,000 was slipping when sold at 150,000, then my parents started leasing them no more trans issues as they were gone after 3 years and 75,000 miles for the 1998, 2001, 2004, 2007,…
I learned to drive in 1988 Dodge Grand Caravan, that was a good car. The ones with the 3.0 V6 didn’t have the trans issues of the later 3.3's. They stopped making the manual trans for a couple years, then introduced it again then took it away again. Best bet is get one with blown trans and do a swap. check the forums.
After selling my Jag on Craigslist, NEVER AGAIN!!!! Yes it is a manual transmission, I put pictures of the 3 pedals and gear stick on the add, 75% showed up expecting an auto, then the low ballers, the dealership offered me a low ball of $750, I did end up selling it for $1900, but took months and was not worth it.
I’ve walked out of dealerships who start with “How much do you want to spend per month” I’ve done my research and I know what it should cost, tell me the sticker and interest rate. Also I go in with my financing ready to go if they can beat it great if not......
True but how does it do compared to reviews when new.
Now you need to take it to the drag strip for 1/4 mile times, really I just want to see you lose to some guy in hot rod Town Car like I saw at grudge match night once. This guy showed up in a stock looking Town Car and was pulling 12s it was awesome
In the 90s dot-com boom men who drove sports cars were seen as aggressive and always on the lookout for the next big thing, men who drove family cars were seen as dependable and loyal. The guys I worked with likes Saab wagons for some reason.
You know I never put 2 and 2 together there, my cousin’s wife, and accountant with a major national firm, always has driven Jettas, and she is of the age to have bought this new on her rise through her firm. Makes sense now.
A VW built in a more civilized time when they were only purchased in the US by teachers and accountants.
The 76 didn’t turn you off to mustangs?
I blame TV, every so called car show features burn outs and yeah this includes road kill
Crashes like this are why I stopped watching Talledega, the enthusiasm of those announcers makes me cringe. I’m a NASCAR fan, but I hate Talledega.
