They can be efficient! My 2019 WRX will get around 7 l/100 km(33 mpg) if I am cruising on the highway at about 110 kmh.

Canada is actually tricky to immigrate to unless you have demonstrated skills. I was born in the US but went to university in Canada and then immigrated. It would have been near impossible if I didn’t have the Canadian degree in a specialized field (Organic Chemistry).

Edit: Soxhlets are also very cool

I have been a chemist for almost 20 years and I still love using the rotovap. Best piece of lab equipment ever.

Also, I always used a cork ring or an iron ring to hold them. You would never have it upside down like Toyota did. That was silly

It’s those Duke boys again!!!

Fortunately, I live across from a cemetery. If those neighbours start making trouble by rising from their graves and whatnot, I don’t think even the President of an HOA could help.

Poor old Bernie can’t catch a break. First the Germans fine him, then the Brits. It’s sad to see such a fine, upstanding citizen get treated this unfairly.

serious injuries such as burns, hydrochloric acid or amputated limbs

I went with the E-Go battery powered trimmer and leaf blower. Much nicer to use than gas. My lawn mowers are both gas. I have a rider for most of the lawn and an old push mower for a few small spots the rider can’t get into. I would gladly replace the push mower with battery.

Those darn rascally seniors! No respect for the young folks

On a night of having porch beers with friends, we started browsing craigslist and found a golf cart with a snowmobile engine. Seller said it could hit 50 and still had more. He was selling it because he valued his life. The boys and I had great plans to buy it but (probably for the best) it was sold by the time we

If old people want to drive golf carts around gated neighbourhoods or just down the road to the market, I am totally fine with that. A few less senior citizens won’t even move the demographic needle.

Ah, so that means you are required to eat Zweigles hot dogs rather than Sahlen’s.

I was born and raised in Albion! Whereabouts are you from?

Yeah. The government wants us to switch to heat pumps and drive EV’s while this asshole just sits here belching out CO2 all day.

Even better idea: If the boat gets stolen, Antigua gets their insurance and the boat’s new ‘owners’ now have a pirate ship to raid other yachts.

That’s pretty staggering when you think about it. Last year, I had to run on generator power for about 6 days in December due to a freak snowstorm. My 7500 watt gas generator runs a sub panel of essential loads in my house (furnace, water heater, fridge, well pump) and I was burning about 5-7 gallons of gas a day, and

That is a good point about cars changing less over time. I would imagine that tightening fuel economy and safety restrictions are forcing a sort of optimized homogeneity. Aerodynamics and crash structures make cars sleeker and with higher beltlines. As cars become less distinguishable from one generation to the next

I think that was on a Nissan forum. It resonates so well because a gearhead gets revenge on both a towing/booting company AND an HOA.
