I would love to be able to bike to work. It is just way too far of a ride. My wife and I got some used bikes over the summer. We are in Canada, so bikes are out of the question for about half the year. Riding to the little grocery store a few km away is doable, but not really for going into town.

Lots of Audi vibes there, but probably a little worse in every metric. It’s also not a name that really rolls off the tongue in English. It’s a little better when the w is pronounced like ‘v’ as the Germans do.

I think that while the Landy would cannibalize SOME 4 Runner sales, that would be a new win for Toyota as it is a more expensive (and therefore, probably higher margin) vehicle. The name also has TONS of recognition and goodwill in the offroading world.

I had to that up. Quite a star-studded cast but the Rotten tomatoes review is pretty bad. I never heard of the movie when it came out, so it must not have been a hit.

I saw one in Rijeka, Croatia, in 2019. It was amazing to see one in its natural habitat! The car certainly hadn’t lived a pampered life but appeared to still be somebody’s daily driver.

So wait, they got divorced after season 2? Did they still call it John and Kate?

Haha. Nice!

I still refer to them as the Steve Urkel cars.

Yeah, older houses in Southern Ontario typically have 100A and newer have 200A. I am in the middle of renovations and I am realizing how unbelievably shitty my house was insulated. There are huge drafts everywhere. Combine that with our natural gas more than doubling since last year and I have become extremely

300 A service is pretty hefty. Though the South uses a lot more AC than the great white North. A neighbor couple of mine just upgraded to 400A service for the dehumidifier required by their indoor pool. Of course, money is no object to them.

My thoughts are when there is a truck, and an SUV based on the truck, the SUV’s are GENERALLY used to tow and haul less, therefore the miles driven are less stressful than in the truck.

I did once as well. I was young, stupid, and far from home. Even now that I have a guy I trust, I hate taking a car to a mechanic. I get mad at myself when I can’t figure something out or fix it.

I do wonder what kind of service you need for a level 2 charger. My current house is 100 amp but I fear that would not be enough, especially in the summer when the AC is in high demand. Upgrading to 200 amp would certainly not be cheap.

You’re 100% correct. A friend’s sister got an ‘electric Mustang’ to haul the kids around. Slapping the name on it to juice sales was actually a pretty brilliant move. I not thrilled that it worked but whatever, it doesn’t hurt me in any way.

Wages can be garnished in Canada. However Ms. Didulo is unemployed and constantly on the move so garnishment will be a challenge

And, it’s not like the people buying stolen goods are just victims that have been tricked. Folks generally know that if they are buying merchandise out of a van at a steep discount, that it may not have been acquired by legitimate means.

Hahaha, I’m going to stick it to Bezos by buying thousands of dollars of amazon merchandise. That’ll teach him to boss me around!

On my old Caprice, I turned the hood ornament sideways for better aerodynamics.

I believe that 70 Ugga-duggas is the standard for aluminum, right?
