So they actually should report the median car price. That would eliminate the effect of the occasional bugatti

Xerox also got into the computer game briefly, invented the GUI and then did nothing with it. Gates and Jobs quickly copied the idea.

Wait, you don’t have a private train car? Must be some kind of pauper.

The batteries are in the B pillars.

What is the title of this book of yours?

I only flew to Endmonton, I spent time in exotic Red Deer.

Yep. My wife and I had to fly from Toronto to Edmonton on short notice recently. Air Canada economy fare was $1,200 each, we found a budget airline that was $400 each plus $30 for a carry on. The seats were cramped, there were no movies, no food, and drinks had to be purchased. For a 4 hour flight, it was tolerable.

I thought the Rav4 was Corolla based but today I learned that it now shares the Camry’s platform. Older ones were Corolla based. I guess as the Rav4 has grown, it left a gap between it and the CH-R.

Greed is also on the part of consumers. We all want more stuff for less money. Think of places like WalMart. The quality of the goods is terrible but people see their dollar going farther so instead of spending money on a few quality items, they buy more junk.

Yep. Gifts for kids, not adults. Hand made is encouraged.

Why buy one car for $50,000 when you could buy 50 cars for $1,000 each?

I don’t know if Massholes are allowed to call anybody strange.

When I went to pick mine up from the dealer, I said “Hey look, it even comes with a vape”. The sales guy got worried and started apologizing that somebody at the dealership must have left it in there when they were getting it ready.

Hopefully this will make money for Mazda to build what we all really want, a rotary powered sports coupe. But more like the RX7 than the RX8

NY inspections were pretty easy. It was a computer scan for codes. Can’t pass with a check engine light. The rest was a visual inspection that included making sure emissions equipment was intact, visual check of tires, lights, brakes and horn (I guess that is audio, not visual, but you get the drift).

In Ontario, we have safety inspections when you buy a used car. We had emissions tests until a few years ago. The provincial gov’t determined that the worst polluting cars were off the streets. Commercial trucks still need safety and emissions tested though.

When I lived in NY, it was something like $25 for the state inspection. While there is some fraud, when shops get caught, it is a felony charge for forged inspections.

They will also steal your silverware if you’re not careful.

The Jetta was the car of choice for sorority girls in the early 2000's. In fact the Jetta GLI stands for “girls love it”. The League even did an episode about hot girls buying Jettas.

Except the WRX which is driven by douche-bros who vape and wear flat brimmed hats.
