It’s not all game preferences, but that’s a decent chunk of it, yes. Microsoft stopped trying—plain and simple.

I apologize if I was coming off as trying to debate something, that wasn’t my intent at all. I was basically just trying to explain that a voice change would probably bother me more. The skin is so spot on that, at that point, she would just be Nova.
Yeah, it’s one of the skins without any voice modification—most likely to drive home the fact that it’s still just Nova.
Except it’s not Nova, it’s Widowmaker taking on Nova’s look. There’s using a skin to have one character embody another and then there’s using a skin to create a completely new character out of an existing kit. Nova Widowmaker is the former—it’s the same reason why Widowmaker Nova in HotS still has Nova’s voice.
You’re still going to see a lot of the same story beats, that’s unavoidable because this is an alternate take on the events of Sun & Moon. It’s still going to be *a lot* different overall though—it’s a remix, if you will.
Game Freak has suggested that the main story will be about double the length of Sun & Moon, so…
Mega Evolutions need a break or they were seriously going to run the risk of tiring out the fanbase with them. They can now return next generation or the generation after to what will no doubt be tremendous fanfare.
Can you elaborate a bit on what you mean? All games in the series are linked now. It was commonly believed in the past that remakes and third versions simply retconned out the older games, but we now know that everything still exists, just in alternate universes/timelines. Pokémon is a multiverse.
Humans have traveled…
Actually, translated dialogue is indicating that the various villains were all pulled from timelines where they achieved their goals. They either defeated the protagonist or nobody stood in their way.
There has actually been a huge debate over the SM protagonists’ names in the Pokémon community for a while now, but this new merchandise is finally beginning to settle it. The general consensus before was indeed “Sun” and “Moon” because of the fact that Sun was used in the eShop demo as the default name, but now we…
It was my GotY for 2016. It was much, much better than FFXV.
Seeing as Serena is already the canon name for the female protagonist of XY it was pretty unlikely for that to also be the name of the SM protagonist.
I got my Switch at launch and have only undocked it once, and it wasn’t even to actually play anything on it. I’m definitely part of the 18%.
That was too much, way too much.
It’s isolated. The PC version utilizes Blizzard’s Battle.net platform. If you have Battle.net friends from games like WoW, Hearthstone, Overwatch, etc. you can talk to them while playing Destiny 2 on PC.
Isn’t great how everyone in the legacy server movement behaves so professionally.
That’d be really cool. I just think that “Beast Tribe” is an unfitting classification. The beast tribes in XIV are far more primitive than the six races, but the beast-like races of Ivalice are not primitive at all. Especially the moogles.
They’re just being given a break. Had they continued with them in Gen VII people would have been sick of them even faster. Now they can have them triumphantly return in a generation or two and everyone is going to absolutely lose it.
Indeed. Though I think bangaa are actually a step above beast tribes.
One thing I noticed is that only seeq were seen inside Rabanastre itself. It’s safe to say they’re native to Hydaelyn then, but as far as I know, we didn’t come across any bangaa until Ba’Gamnan and co. showed up.
Matsuno already clarified that this isn’t the case, but there may be some multiverse connections established later on. I’m personally having trouble accepting that Ba’Gamnan isn’t the same character we meet in FFXII—because unlike Krile, Unei/Doga and the legions of other characters that exist as allusions in the…
The fact that you didn’t have any reasonable argument against this other than “corporation worshiper” and “fuck off” kind of proves my point.
