I don't know about destined to die. So long as their respective companies continue to exist, I think that WoW, FFXI and FFXIV will be the MMOs to always cheat death, no matter how low their playerbase may get.

Haha, yeah, same here. I've never come close to having coins expire either, two years is actually rather generous.

Coins have always expired, it's been that way from the start.

I pre-ordered mine earlier today, I can't wait!

They didn't. Pocket Monsters is just as commonly used as Pokemon, but is typically reserved for proper titles. Some examples would be Pocket Monsters X, Pocket Monsters Y or Pocket Monsters Best Wishes. When referring to the creatures or the franchise itself though, you're almost always going to just hear 'Pokemon.'

Sorry, but that's incorrect. Wizards had absolutely nothing to do with the development of the Pokémon TCG. The game was developed in Japan by Tsunekazu Ishihara (current president and CEO of The Pokémon Company), Takumi Akabane and Kouichi Ooyama. It was published there by Media Factory initially, but was eventually

I don't know. I think it's much cooler to think of Diancie as a sort of "queen of the fairies." A legendary Pokemon who rules over the Carbink.

Well, GoW's effect was given to Pokemon Catcher in Black and White. Since then, it's proven to be a problem card once again and is being given an errata on November 8th. It now requires a coin flip, like Pokemon Reversal.

Why is there no option on the poll for purchasing both?

Read the copyrights sometime, guys. The Pokémon franchise is a four way ownership split between Nintendo, The Pokemon Company, Game Freak and Creatures. The Pokemon Company in particular, while established by Nintendo, has complete autonomy and is free to make their own business decisions.

That sounds like nothing but a blessing to me. Hit up that Nintendo World launch event!

The Lightning FATE is set to go live November 14th.

Ampharos is tied due to it also being a Stage 2 Pokémon.

Pokemon Trainer is also named Red.

It's actually been said that he's based on Toriyama's Cornish Rex cat.

It has nothing to do with opinion and everything to do attempting to instigate and argument that's already been done to death.

Kotaku comment idiocy never ceases to amaze..

It actually hasn't been 13 years since we last saw Charizard, only about 7 or so. The last time he appeared was in Advanced Generation during the Kanto Battle Frontier arc. This is the first time in a while he'll be a regular, though.

No, thanks.

Absolutely jump back in! Mists of Pandaria is fantastic and the game's evolved and has so many new features that the value you get for your $15 a month has IMO, never been better. I'm definitely not of the opinion that it's "jumped the shark". Grab a trial and see for yourself, though!
