A GCN VC was briefly mentioned during interviews around E3 2011, but they haven't said anything about it since other than Reggie saying something along the lines of "that would be cool."

Thinking more about it, I think EVs are mostly okay as is but could use some new methods to speed up the process. IVs however, are the area that really needs to be re-examined since they're by far the biggest headache. Can you imagine if nature (and then EV training) was the only thing you had to worry about? Life…
You don't believe training is meant to be part of Pokemon? I don't know how anyone could say that..
Seriously, what's not to like? Looks like the best expansion since TBC to me.
I didn't mention the original CE since Thaddeus was talking about expansions specifically, but yes. I was also very impressed with SCII's CE, and D3's too for that matter. I'll definitely be picking up HotS' CE as well.
Always have, probably always will (at least for WoW). The Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King, Cataclysm all had CEs. This is the first time Blizzard's offered a Digital Deluxe Edition, though.
It's being reported elsewhere that the collection doesn't actually include 358/2, just the game's cutscenes in HD.
It's a long shot, but I'm hoping Nintendo will release some sort of USB device to transfer GameCube saved data for use with GameCube Virtual Console titles. Kind of like what Sony has for MagicGate to move data to the PS3's internal memory card.
Haha, got me there!
It's not like SQEX stopped producing reuglar, offline Final Fantasy titles after XI. Rest assured, though I think we can probably expect some multiplayer features from here on out. To some degree, anyway.
Somehow I misinterpreted your post. Before the games were released a lot of fans were clamoring for a feature to transfer save data like your previous team and stuff (either directly, or for an optional boss fight ala Red). The Memory Link reminiscing is a lot more minor then many people were hoping for. Somehow I got…
First I should note that Gold and Silver were first retconned by Crystal. HGSS then retconned all of Gen II. HGSS features storylines from Crystal that didn't exist in the original Gold and Silver but removes features from Crystal at the same time (Time Capsule, GS Ball, Pokémon Mobile System GB).
The Red Gyarados report is seen at the start of Diamond of Pearl and can be found later in the game if playing Platinum but is missable. Jasmine's appearance in DPPt and numerous other things like the Shinjo Ruins event also connect the games' stories.
Yes, Gen III is the hardest to place. Based on things like Steven Stone's appearance in HGSS (he makes reference to the protagonists of RSE) and the migration of various Hoenn legendaries to Kanto and Johto they can definitely be placed before Gen IV. We just don't know exactly how parallel they are with FRLG.
They don't really treat new Pokemon as "discoveries" much anymore. You're just supposed to assume that all Pokemon have always existed and that they're just conveniently never mentioned or the particular region they inhabit is too far away for those Pokemon to be commonplace in another region.
Game Freak has stated that the version you played last time is the version you should get this time. Ailezx is incorrect in that the games don't feature any transfer mechanism to carry over data from the previous installments. However, the worlds of Black and White are still separate so in order to get the most out of…
While nothing's ever been officially stated, the main series timeline has been pieced together into something like this:
He hasn't composed anything from the main series games by Game Freak (that I know of), but the Pokemon Ranger games and other titles by Creatures he had a hand in.
No love for his Pokemon work?
inb4 Org is worth more than SW. Blizzard favors Horde!!1
