All I could think when seeing her outfit was "she's going to get oil and soot all over her boobs." It doesn't just look impractical, it looks like something someone would wear if she has no idea what she's doing. Which runs counter to the idea that she's an experienced mechanic.

The law just says it is ok for AUS retailers to sale the game. It is still up to the retailer what products they want to carry. You can't make a store sell a product it doesn't want to.
It's so trendy to bitch about Assassin's Creed, but you have to remember that every year they release a whole new game in a completely new setting with completely new characters, a full rich single player experience with side quests up the wazoo, and add several new mechanics that change how you play the game.
