A long password with special characters isn't necessary a strong one. If your password consists of normal words written in leet speak, it isn't very strong at all. If you want to crack passwords, you use dictionaries and try combination of words, not of characters. There are also dictionaries for leet speak.

But how many bots do you get for that price? A few thousand bots wont take services down that were build to serve millions of Xbox360s, Xbox Ones, PS3s and PS4s.

It is sad what happend to this website. I liked it much more when it was still in its closed & open alpha phase and it had the map and timeline with all the occurrences of the AC universe.

Trying to put a gif in a Google Docs document. Best idea I had today :D

This masterpiece should be included:

The commercial was also posted on the Nintendo UK channel in May, so it is probably not a new game pad.

Well, it seems that you maybe don't even need to crack the Wii U. If I understand the documentation of the NTAG215 chip correctly, the password isn't sent encryrpted which means that you should be able to capture it with an NFC sniffer (there is an app for that).

Ok, I couldn't resist and bought a mario amiibo today and did some research. I scanned it with the Android app "NFC TagInfo" on my Nexus 4.

The FareBot app seems to be specialized for public transportation NFC cards. You could try a different app for more general NFC operations. Just search for "NFC" in the Play Store, there are several apps which can tell you what type of NFC is used and what sections are read-only or writable. The stored data will

Did you tried to write data to an amiibo by yourself or do you have a source for that? I only found one source that says that the Wii U uses a BroadCom NFC Controller Chip which only supports NFC Forum compliant chips.

As far as I know the Wii U pad writes actual game data to the amiibo. If an amiibo would only contain an id which points to some sort of profile on the Wii U system, it would be necessary to synchronize these profiles over the internet so that you can use your amiibo with other Wii U systems. Also the fact that you

My theory is that both the amiibo and his metro card use the same NFC type/protocol which don't support read/write access control. The metro card probably stores only an (encrypted) id which identificates the user. This (encrypted) id could be read with a NFC capable device and then be written to the amiibo.

Nintendo Germany just tweeted that Mewto will be available as paid DLC.

Yout comment broke the site's CSS :D

It would be interesting to know how the filter decides what it should block. I assume that it is some sort of text based filter because it didn't blocked the Google image search. You should try to open this article on your NN3DS because it contains the word "porn" in its text and in its URL.
