CCA has doesn't measure capacity it is the cold temperature current output performance test. Lithum batteries will not do well in capacity figures under cold operation. (Capacity drops for lithium cells under sub-zero discharge conditions)

[Wes Hutchings Excerpt On Batteries]
The Veyron was an R&D experiment. VW never made back the cost of producing them through sales.

Wes Hutchings necro post expanded so we can see it in its full glorious pseudo-science. Let's start with "WE USE 100% OF OUR BRAINS"
People need 1000HP cars it is for status symbols and racing which is a major entertainment and RnD source for automotive technologies. Don't know where you're getting that impression just because it isn't a consumer product doesn't mean it doesn't solve a valid problem.
Recent movies movies numbered 50-53 where acceptable on average while 54 (Big Hero 6) had some pretty glaring plot line issues. By the way movies are entertainment.
Have a nice day/night. I'll always be ready to respond if you ever want to come back, response times are not guaranteed.
Capable? Yes. Willing?
No.Yes
Why its harder to read multiple posts embedded in one. I think the formatting looks better with it split up. Plus it certainly seems like your able to respond to more than one post otherwise you wouldn't be responding to multiple posts.
See you have a big problem here. Problems are made by us, anyone can make a problem and try to solve it. Problem, jets use tons of fuel, wireless power be able to power flying drones properly, genetically engineered birds could fill that need. Problem2, I want an AI, a smart talking raven would be a great "AI". Birds…
I don't care. It is just illustrative to the public. I can carry parallel discussions with multiple people its fun. No guarantees on response times or ordered responses.
I believe I have said that repeatedly that your ignoring me as well as a cited evidence which contradicts your own "experiences". And whoever has more sources to back them up wins.
I did say others are reading didn't I. It all a show after all. I'm just the educational type. Some people might not articulate their words as well but if you cut to the chase you can still understand what they are saying.
Why not there dead ends.
What do you really have to ask we invent cool technology? Because we can. Just because it is hard doesn't mean we shouldn't do it.
He isn't trolling you he is saying your making no sense. There is a big difference. A troll just means to stir up the internets till it catches fire. I have an interest in the subject and think your wrong.
You really think we should have commuter cars with 1000 HP that weigh less than current cars. I believe your talking about a motorcycle or racing car. (You know what happens when you have a ton of horse power and a light vehicle) you'll go flying and your stopping ability won't be sufficient and you'll have people…
It is important to properly and appropriately cite references in scientific research papers in order to acknowledge your sources and give credit where credit is due. Science moves forward only by building upon the work of others. There are, however, other reasons for citing references in scientific research papers.…
Why is the aim to be fast, if we have evacuated tube trains connecting the planet no one will need to fly. It can go at hypersonic speeds all without needing all the crap a plane needs. (And can run on pure electrical power provided by highly efficient power plants)
