Technically those where easily identifiable as non-explosive devices as there was no where near enough bulk to cause harm. A random box could in theory contain anything from coins to garbage. (It is probably already against city laws to leave trash in the middle of a roadway)

If you don't want your real name to be associated with something bad then don't use your real name. You are free to use any proper first/last name combination when making accounts and in reality it is more of a push for more readable and memorable names rather than forcing you to use your real name.

Why not I use multiple email addresses? Only people I interact directly with know my main email and even then I tell them to send it to one of my other addresses so that I basically never get spam and can easily tell if someone is compromised when they start sending things to my main account and sub accounts.
