you overestimate the power output of such a small sterling engine. A PC uses a couple hundred watts of power. It could power a phone charger but no PC.

I have the same dilemma now at 69.
I haven’t heard one in person but I guess they’re pretty loud. The guys in the video are definetely wearing ear plugs.
These are Jetcat P200RX turbines, one costs about $5000. Usually they’re used in RC model aircrafts.
“I don’t care what angle you choose, but it has to be manufactured at an max. deviation of 5°”
EU, ÄU, OI, all the same
no, but in contrast to spotify you can eliminate youtube ads with a simple adblocker
I have a casio watch with a PV panel surrounding the watchface. But its power consumtion is obviously miniscule compared to a smartwatch.
Totally forgot about evolve! I preordered but forgot to play it since the release (I played the beta, so I’m already kind of familiar with the game).
Any Roguelike fans here? I’m currently playing Risk of Rain, Tower of Guns, Don’t Starve and Binding of Isaac.
The RC TX is the controller in my hands. The video TX is directly connected to my GoPro. It’s a 600mW ImmersionRC transmitter with a spiroNET antenna from fatshark. The receiver (RX) is a module you can put into the Fatshark dominator goggles which has another spiroNET antenna mounted.
It’s a fly or a bug. simple as that.
I only have tried the Dominator V2 and HD so I can only say the image is clearer than on the Dom V2.
People are comletely underestimating the capabilities of the gear and pilots.
I have the Dominator HDs and love flying my FPV wing and Tricopter with them. They’re definitely worth the money.
flies. those are flies. The video I posted isn definetely not sped up (you can hear people talking) and the quad is flying about the same speed.
take a look at this video, it’s even crazier:
Have you seen RC helicopter acrobatics? There are more people than you think with enough skill to fly like in the video.
Nope. It’s real. The frame rigidity is no problem because it’s small and light. With a standard analog video transmitter there is almost no lag so it’s possible to fly these little quads with FPV. But the quad in this video is flown without video gear. Of course it’s hard but this guy surely is a pro at flying these.
