EcoBoost Exploders are no slouches.

Now playing

Relevant because I just want to remind everyone that this laugh exists.

The helicopter kept up with her to “an area of northwestern Tehama County” where she ditched the Mystery Machine, but lost track of her as she carried on on foot.

I drive fast, and if someone is going faster than me then I much prefer that they travel in a straight line rather than weave through four lanes trying to pass one vehicle. So I move over and let that speeder handle all of the cops hiding up ahead. Everybody wins.

Ditto the other poster, the article clearly states that a trooper will go after both the person camped out over the speed limit and the speeder. Your judgment about speed and convenience becomes a mandate to everyone else when you camp out in the left lane.

You sir are the problem.

I guess you think this article is about other people.

“Apparently authorities have decided that most drivers simply don’t know they’re not supposed to camp out in the left lane at low speed”

I use my flashers now as I approach (between 4-7 seconds out), but alot of people view flashers as you being an entitled asshole and may actively slow down and refuse to get over. Personally, I back off when they do that to a safe distance and flash when I know they can get over.

Yes, thank you for pointing this out. Even if you are going 95 mph, I strongly advise to pull into the right lane after passing. I have been passed plenty of times by cars going 120+mph.

Screw it. Ticket ‘em. If they’re so obtuse they don’t know the law (even when many highways already have signs saying “slower traffic keep right” or some permutation of the same) and so self absorbed they don’t notice or care they’re leading a huge parade, they deserve a ticket.

But in all seriousness, If somebody behind you would like to pass, even if you are driving the speed limit and your personal opinion is that they shouldn’t be going faster, please please please don’t match the speed of the lane next to you and purposefully prevent them from passing.

I think the armor on the bottom handles that just fine. Also, as a DC resident, there is nothing more bothersome than Biden, Obama, et al. moving around the city. That shit fucks up traffic big time.

I use them both, Google Maps for when I need reliable navigation, and Waze for when I know where I’m going but want to optimize my trip (via alerts about traffic and speed traps). But I agree, Google could easily merge the reliability and functionality since it owns both.

Flat black might work for cop cars in future Detroit, but it makes no damn sense for taxicabs that are trying to be spotted on busy streets (and, knowing Gotham - at night in the rain).

Never thought anything could make me purposely seek out and watch this commercial . I was Wrong.

Holy short shifting six speed, was that during or after the storm?! There’s barely enough snow in either of those pictures to warrant me even getting out the salt for my driveway!

Yeah it sucks, but I probably wouldn’t leave my car unless it became a survival situation and I had to pull some Bear Grylls shit like drinking my own pee...
