It should require you to run Uplay, even if you bought it on Steam, then thank you for choosing Uplay as if you had a choice.

The $500,000 question:

"In-app purchases"

The thing I really liked about FFT:A2 is that it didn't try super hard to have a massive, meaningful story. It had so much content but so little of it was devoted to moving the story forward, and what story that did exist was good enough (not amazing, but not mind-numbing either)

Lot of people skipped it because FFTA wasn't that great. Only place it really suffers is that the story is pretty nonexistent in comparison to FFT or the Ogre Battles.

I've actually been replaying FFT:A2, and yeah, it's pretty damn good. I'm gonna talk about it a bit on this week's Random Encounters.

Everyone who didn't like FFT:A2 Grimoire of the Rift is wrong.

Ignorance: Statements without all the annoying consideration, awareness, or knowledge.

Taking the video a bit serious, are we? ;)

I prefer to think of it as us haphazardly supporting PC gaming! :D

Zak, that is totally wrong. Sure, you wait a day or two, but then it won't be on sale anymore and less people are going to buy it. Therefore, the developers, at least some of which are small indies, will get less money which they NEED to keep making games.

I'd argue it also hurts any of the games on sale for the portion of time the service is down. PixelJunk Eden had a massive boost in sales when it was on sale, and I can imagine a lot of companies would have greatly appreciated the extra cash flow, which has now been taken from them.

Hacking doesn't say anything to companies, and hackers very rarely hack these companies to change anything other than "STOP MAKING MONEY".

Do you really need to put a pic of Sleeping Dogs cover art, to tell us all your playing it? I'm pretty sure everyone knows what your talking about...Oh wait I know why you just want to artificially make your post seem important. : /

The problem is, it's a pretty content-free, fatuous quote often used to excuse any kind of bigotry the poster feels like.

Dead Space. Poor Dead Space. One of the most brilliant horror franchises of all time is there, evident by the superb DS1 and still-amazing DS2, only for EA's greed and bizarre desire to homogenize all games into the same microtransactioned, online multiplayer military bro-gamer future to show up and utterly mess with

Gamecube was only a financial failure, mostly due to poor marketing made worse by inability to effectively compete with behemoths like Microsoft and Sony on equal terms.

Just getting money this year. It's all going towards making a gaming PC. God as my witness i will make me one!!!!!

The PC version will probably still look better than next gen, but yeah I really doubt Crystal Dynamics will release her new face as an update.

I think it's safe to say an official Nintendo product will be fine.
