Well for one, it’s magic. So.

Luke Skywalker is a mythic figure at the end of TLJ.

What was wrong with your recap?

When the person criticizing the movie has to make up plot points to do it, you are losing the argument.

You really think Kylo Ren was the hero?

“At least Rogue One had tropical”

A a Lucio main, the best feeling in Overwatch is bullying a Reinhardt.

Yes, please! More on this topic, it’s super fascinating. I’m really happy you picked up on Scott Benson’s thread.

Is it weird/wrong that I see Deathstroke and Teen Titan’s “Slade” as two distinct characters? Like, I know TT’s Slade is Deathstroke and they only called him Slade because kids, but Slade still seems like a unique character from what I’ve seen of Deathstroke on other shows like Arrow and Young Justice.

How can you think writing aggressive and smug responses to people is the best way to get them to think about your side for a moment?

“To each of them I laugh.”

Thanks for the clarification, that’s about what I was expecting from your comment. I doubt they’d throw in Hal or John in an already stuffed movie, but I love me some Green Lanterns so even some rando lanterns is cool for me.

Oh god dangit, literally everything I’ve seen about this movie has me lukewarm as hell about it but that we see Green Lanterns now has my attention.

I never really got it either until I started watching them. A game was in beta that I was really interested in learning about (Friday the 13th) but couldn’t play, so I started looking up YouTube videos. Found this really fun guy who had a lot of videos of the beta, and he also streamed. I started watching his streams

Awesome article!

I think the problem is that’s about as deep as the plots of the movies impact the shows. You get shallow references to “the incident” (Ben Urich in DDS1 had his articles on that Manhattan invasion framed in his office) and the Avengers like “the shield guy” or “the green guy” but there’s never anything substantial

The audience reaction in that video is extremely on point.

There was already the inferior prequel movie trilogy, I think the “Star Wars-ization” of Lord of the Rings is well underway.

We’re talking about The Hobbit movies, right?

It was a fun 3D platformer with an interesting cartoonish style that worked very well for The Hobbit. I distinctly remember really enjoying the comedic “three trolls” section.
