Battle Royale was a novel before it was a film and manga.

Having all of the players start in a plane/flying device to drop out and parachute onto the map was not in Battle Royale or Hunger Games and is unique to PUBG in the BR genre as far as I’m aware.

I really wish they had gone with this outfit. It becomes especially odd in The Defenders when Danny’s scenes are tinted in a green light to reflect his comic costume, but it’s so out of place because we’ve literally never associated the color green with Danny before that.
