I did too, but us enjoying a show despite it’s many obvious flaws doesn’t erase those many obvious flaws.

“cromulant”
I don’t think people are gonna like to hear this, but since The Hand is such a big part of The Defenders plot, I think Iron Fist is going to be just as important to watch.
Hate to break it to you, but South Park could easily challenge Stranger Things, or any other show, for the “most overrated show of the past few years” title.
Ah yes, Game of Thrones, the show about snow zombies and magic fire powers that went from “it takes half a season to get from here to there” to “it takes literally one scene transition to get from here to there.”
It is absolutely not your “duty” to tell people to not like a thing that you don’t like.
As far as I can tell, they’ve never had dedicated copy editors, even back when it was all Gawker Media.
For what it’s worth, one of those examples comes from Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords, and that is not even close to a silly story. Quite the opposite, in fact.
It’s tough for sure. I saw that photo on Twitter being posted by people who should be dependable sources. It got them too, and it got me originally before I saw other users fact check it, so I wouldn’t sweat it too much.
That top photo was not taken today, FWiW.
This recently started happening a lot for me when I began playing Friday the 13th: The Game. I think the game’s focus on teamwork and communication really add to this. I’ve had a lot of players add me because I try and keep things lighthearted and generally as non-shitty as I can. Crack some jokes, be helpful with…
How is messaging someone “send nudes” not lewd?
Ryuji always seemed fine to me, brash and reckless but so what?
I liked that a lot too, but if losing that means I won’t have to go 4/8 on kills because one asshole decided to kill half of his team before I ever found him, then I’m cool with it.
I’m really annoyed that article quoted him at all. Dude is a nutcase who is just there to troll the subreddit and the game’s players. His response to this new change was “Aww the game just lost all its excitement. Poor GUN media, they can’t do anything right. I’m gonna start placing traps on items, or just hiding them…
I’m not just talking about the show. There’s a whole book series as well, if you’re gonna compare Dune to anything it should be the book series.
That Game of Thrones/Dune comparison is a serious disservice to the actual GoT/ASoIaF series.
Between this and the “Friday the 13th: The Game fans are outraged” story from yesterday, I’m pretty over the “Gamers on Reddit are angry about X” genre of article.
It sucks because there are definitely valid complaints to have with this game, but most people in that sub just don’t know how to raise those complaints without being complete assholes about it and/or demonizing the people who made the game.
Slint’s Spiderland is a great album :(
