I was really bummed to see music outlets like Pitchfork have headlines and deks that were just “Memphis Musician Dead After Setting Himself on Fire at Crowded Bar” and “The horrific act was broadcast on Facebook Live”

It all feels really time-travely to me, especially this newest version of Hitman. You start off the level and its like you’re setting this intricate machine in motion. If you know how the different parts move, you can easily slip in there to cause some chaos.

I did love the way it handled blending in.

It’s weird, because I don’t actively dislike it. It’s a really solid game, and well-made, and I love the world and the characters a lot.

Exactly my feelings! I love the world, really enjoy the main character, the story is alright, and the gameplay can be satisfying. But I just lose interest after an hour or two. Doesn’t click with me like I thought it would.

Finished with graduate school (minus actually doing my thesis) so I’m gonna celebrate by changing some more hearts in Persona 5.

Now playing

This is really cool. But I gotta say, Opeth still has my favorite “Lotus Eater”

The A Song of Ice and Fire subreddit is just now seeming stale to you?

Kotaku isn’t playing around with its headlines this morning

The two clips you posted sound so incredibly reasonable I’m honestly pretty astounded you think they legit amount to “censorship.”

I’m a big fan of “possession” horror, and one of my favorite things about Legion was that the demon doing the possessing was an actual character and not just a “demon” that does “demon” things. The Devil with the Yellow Eyes/The Shadow King/Amahl Farouke has a lot more personality and character than the average

I’ve been rewatching the series on, ahem, less than legal means this past week. Think I’m gonna have to take this deal up, I feel bad for not paying for one of my all-time favorite animated series.

Obviously not a great answer to this, but I’ve found that making custom outfits for different characters puts that outfit into their wardrobe they might choose from when off doing their own thing.

Since it’s from flickr, I’m guessing it was used because that photo is flagged for fair use with modifications. It’d be hard to find such fair use photos of any of the story’s subjects, or any photos at all since Compete Kotaku isn’t located in Columbia, Missouri and the Stephens College team doesn’t really exist yet.

But then it would have just been for shock value.

Probably could have framed that very valid comment in a different way than “condescending response to subtext you mostly read into.”

The beta was what turned me off honestly. It was decent enough, but the vehicle powerups and hero unlocks really didn’t click with me. It felt too arcadey, which I guess isn’t uncommon in Battlefront but at least the first two games felt more fluid.

Just fyi, you’re the second person to use the “It’s almost as if...” construction to be passive aggressive about this post.

Adding new things to a sequel is “pandering” now?

Battlefront without campaign: “What?? No campaign?! Battlefront 2 had such a great singleplayer though, I want that back!”
