I can 100% understand why the NFL and MLB etc. don’t do it (really why the owners would never allow it), but the MLS seems to have a much higher opinion of itself than maybe is warranted. This though would be something that would get people interested.

My neighbor would probably be best described as an “amateur auto repair” guy. He’s restored 4 or 5 historic vehicles, has helped me change out a warped rotor, and helped me get my lawn tractor going. One of the best people I’ve ever met and we consider him family. So, basically the opposite of everything you said.
