On your first point, following your logic, Candy Crush and Clash of Clans shouldn’t be among the top grossing games in the app store because they’re old and early adopters should be maxed out by now. And yet, here we are.
Main income is microtransactions, it is sponsorships by companies like mcdonalds for special pokemon at their places and permanent lures to tempt customers in.
