He's right. Vodka helped too, but those bags of peas got me through it.

that's it!? Thanks!
That was a different 3 gigs. The XDA thing had to do with android phones with HTC sense 3.5. Someone on XDA created an apk that made it seem as if your phone had HTC sense 3.5 even if it didn't. The deal was that the three gigs was good for 12 months.
So handbrake was recently updated and they did away with the target size option. I relied on that option to compress the videos to fit as many as I could onto my kids' kindle fires. Can anyone point me to an easy to use bitrate calculator so that I can figure out how big the files will be? I tried to reinstall the…
Kind of OT, but damn for some reason this makes me miss Monday Night Football. It was probably the "buzzing with anticipation" line. Sunday night football is great, but there was something about MNF that I guess they'll never recapture.
Weird — that last slide, that said "More is coming in 2012" or whatever, and had the arc underneath, made me think of that fake curved Iphone prototype that was making the rounds a few weeks ago.
I mentioned this in #whitenoise, but it probably fits here better.
My kid is still traumatized by the fact that Mama Llama was too busy talking on the phone to hear Llama Llama Red Pajama screaming for her.
100 MB file size limit kills it for me. Great that it went up from 25 MB, but still not enough.
Great article. I still repeat quotes from this episode. I've been trying to teach my 3 year old to tell his little brother that "you don't know when to keep your mouth shut, do you saxy boy."
I'm curious about the Technocel Universal Travel Charger and Back Up Battery. At 1000 mAh, it seems pretty underpowered. I get that it also acts as a USB charger, but still. I'm in the market for one of these travel chargers and can't figure out which one to get. I just want to be able to charge my Droid…
Still using my Incredible that I got the day of launch. My NE2 came up at the end of December, and I have no interest in even looking. I'd probably like the new Nexus, but am not willing to spend the $200 since I'm still happy with the DInc.
Love these articles. The monoprice one is OOS at the moment; expected to be back in stock on March 3. I'm in for 2. Thanks for the recommendation.
I just bought the Cocoon CPS300JB Mini Portfolio Case with GRID-IT and love it. Great if you need something to protect your gear while traveling.
I never knew these existed and now I must have them. Thank you. They will be here Wednesday. I am constantly trying to prop up my collars on days I don't wear a tie. Now I just have to remember to take them out at the end of the day. I've lost countless metal collar stays to the dry cleaner.
I (genuinely) think you may have bigger problems? Or leave the laptop at home or work before you get shitfaced.
Winner. (it's that crazy guy that said he killed Jonbenet Ramsey)
Supposedly Walmart is offering a $50 gift card with the purchase of a Kindle Fire, starting Sunday. There's a thread in slickdeals.net that discusses it.
$240 is a pretty good deal for the Toro. I got one last year for $260, after a 10% coupon. It's a great little thrower. It handled snow up to 14 inches last year, although obviously it takes a bit more time than a big 2-stage deal. My driveway could probably use a "real" thrower, but I was looking for something…
Most kids get motion sickness reading books in the car. I have 4 year old, a 2 year old and a 1 year old. On longer trips (2+ hours), dvd players (and now kindle fires) are musts. I agree that kids need time away from electronics . . . but during a long car ride is not the time.
