Ok, then my dog ate my iPad...
I can see it now: My iPad bricked and I couldn't read last night's assignment...
The one on Sony's website is 10 inches, but the $299 price tag is kind of steep.
You know what . . . you're right. That's even better considering I would be able to load up different movies on each one.
Make a weather-proof one please.
I need one of these for the kindle fire, although I guess that's not possible. I'd buy it today. We now have three portable dvd players which is a huge pain.
This is actually an interesting theory. Jaworksi was on Mike and Mike this morning and it struck me as odd that he spent a good deal of time talking about how he thought O'Brien was a great choice.
Nic/Chip/Emrich: Poor wording on my part. I meant for my post to question his advice. Thanks for the responses!
How does he shave.
I completely agree with your comment about scaling down the hardware to get at that magic $200 number. The vast majority of consumers don't need a blazing fast tablet. They want to check the weather, surf the web or shop while sitting on their couch. A quad-core 1.3Ghz processor would be unnecessary for most…
We just had a slight problem with our ~10 year old dishwasher and I asked the repairman for recommendations on buying a new one. He told me to hold onto the old one as long as possible, because the new ones clean much worse. The reason (according to him) was because what the new ones gain in energy efficiency they…
Re: #3 — make sure that fire is really out before you close the flue.
Is your firewood seasoned enough? Wet wood will just smoke. Also, to follow up on what Tim Raines said, take the rolled up firewood and put it on top of your wood stack, right under the flue. Put enough there to really get a big flame going to warm up the flue.
It runs Opera and Dolphin HD. Not sure about firefox.
As RadRique said, the Skeletool is extremely light. If you pay a little more you will get the "carbon fiber" version with a better blade. Note, however, that the pliers seem much flimsier, particularly when compared to my Wave. I tend to use my Wave much more than the skeletool.
Don't forget: "Why are his hands attached to each other" or "Why does he have a tag on his back?" or "Why is that store selling elves? I thought Santa sent him."
Where are you (not) getting a doodle bear for $18??
In addition to waiting to put up the tree, DO NOT buy an Elf on the Shelf. I wake up at 4:00 a.m. every goddam morning in a panic because I forgot to move the damn elf the night before, and then have to race downstairs before the monsters wake up and move him. Oh, and the Elf thing doesn't work. The kids could care…
We bought our four-year old a Kindle Fire. It might be $100 more, but you will easily spend over $200 on the Leap Pad after you factor in the games you have to buy. She can read books on the Fire, watch movies on the Fire and there's a ton of educational apps and games. And it's only $200, so if she breaks it I'll…
They were giving away a 9/11/11 Pearl Jam concert which had a pretty great set list. Even had "It's o.k." coming out of Daughter, although there are other versions I like better. Not sure if it is still free, but it may be worth it to take a look.
