I love the World of Darkness setting (Werewolf: The Apocalypse is sitting right next to my computer right now; I was re-reading it for inspiration for my ongoing D&D campaign), and I love Paradox.

I refuse to believe that it’s weird or sexist to make note of the very characteristics that led to her having such a difficult time with the male players at the tournament, especially since that difficulty was the central core of my post.

The second to last opponent I ever played a game of competitive Magic against was a woman. She was young — likely in her late teens or early 20's — beautiful and polite.

That particular scene stood out to me as well. It’s the kind of phrasing that makes someone like me — a highly trained military marksman with a disturbingly natural talent for firearms who nevertheless doesn’t keep a gun in the house because my wife is terrified of them — pause for a few moments and consider what my

She’s the perfect combination of devastating beauty and aristocratic privilege. She’s guaranteed to slime right out of this as she fails upwards.

Oh goodness, stop repeating this “voluntarily signed” stuff.

Take your damn star and get outta here! You made me spit out my lunch!

My wife and I bought a Prius Prime Advanced and got a $4500 tax rebate, making the EV-Hybrid car affordable to us as compared to buying another commuter vehicle.

Given that I don’t honestly believe the fantasy of “No War” myself, I would like to see us implement a program like the one you suggest.

This should come as no surprise. The US never passes on an excuse to bomb brown people.

I have an EA All Access pass because I like to play indie games but there’s a lot of chaff out there. Of course, it’s the gems among the chaff that really make for memorable experiences, but even a lot of those gems ask a pretty significant capital investment for what is often a short (but beautiful) experience.

I stopped playing WoW a while ago and could never go back now. I’ve spent too much time playing Guild Wars 2, Destiny 2, and Final Fantasy 14 — all games where you can freely move to another part of the game world FROM any part of the game world via a massive and well-distributed system of waypoints.

Really, there only needed to be a very short explanation from Valve about this:

The US-Israel relationship is toxic and American politicians spend too much time kowtowing to Israel to avoid ridiculous claims of antisemitism. There is a world — nay, a universe of difference between antisemitism and disagreeing with the policies, politics, and military actions of the nation of Israel.

You’re not wrong, but keep in mind that they aren’t meant to be killed solo. They are essentially world bosses.

Account ban the people who harass her?

“This horrible thing just happens, you know? Nothing can be done about it. We shouldn’t even try to address the issue.”

...What the hell is wrong with people?!

I would encourage you to keep in mind that expecting people to carefully consider an argument or opinion before reaching judgement on its worth is a pretty big ask.

Oh god. Not everyone who disagrees with you is a “shill” or “influencer”. I’m too old to even have a YouTube channel. Sometimes people just think you’re wrong.
