Yeah, let me sum up the Republican freak-out over Ms. Ocasio-Cortez:

It took my wife and I 7 years to get married:

Damn, there’s a lot of negativity and snark in the comments here.

The only problem here was the unnecessary chatter on the freq after the pattern was cleared.

Good security has three factors:

I recently ran a large conference for social media professionals in my area; I was in charge of the technology, presentation, lights, sound, etc — I didn’t do much of the lead-up, but the actual day of the event was almost entirely mine.

I have three animals who I don’t want baking in the Florida heat.

I was in the Navy. I’ve visited 18 countries between South America, Europe, and the Middle East.

1. I’m a Caribbean black child of immigrants; I’m the first of either side of my family to be born in America.

I’ve been overseas on account of the Navy. Even as the ship’s Public Affairs Officer, whose job it was to make contact in advance of the ship pulling into port to both set up liberty activities and learn about the local laws and customs for the benefit of the rest of the sailors, there was just too much information

Taiwanese men in particular are extremely suspicious of foreigners, believing we were only there to steal their women (which, to be fair, many of us were).”

This is a terrible situation and certainly has gone too far. I really can’t recommend putting so much of one’s life on display for the world, regardless of intent or goals, simply because there are so many bad people out there that seem to feed off of hating other people.

What. The. Fuck. Is. This. Shit?

Great educational pieces as always, Michael. I especially appreciate the voting breakdown of the Civil Rights Act as controlled for geographic location that the voting representative hailed from; really good stuff there.

Yes. They could have called him a fucking cab!

That whole “class warfare!” cry is a sham, a shell game. The class warfare has been going on since one caveman convinced another caveman that these shiny-but-otherwise-useless rocks are somehow valuable and that the other caveman should accept them in return for the animal he hunted.

This is good. It’s an interesting setting and should make for great storyboard lore.

Well, yes. I’ll concede that point. There’s a lot of bad people out there.

If there’s an award for “Longest time ever spent playing Planescape: Torment” I’m sure to win it!

So what if you, like me, started dating your best friend when you were both 15, lost your virginity to each other, and neither of you have had sex with anyone else?
