Open-rolling dice during combat simply shows my players that I’m not fudging rolls for or against them. I had a DM that used to do this all the time to keep a story “on rails”, and I decided that the easiest way to show the players that they are masters of their own destiny is to open-roll.

Yeah, this conversation is over. I’m not going to deal with someone who is twisting my words.

Wow... that’s some nice work there. The pixel art works because the characters are larger, the actions are slower and more deliberate, and it’s not as finicky as a Smash-like, where it’s important to understand EXACTLY what move your opponent is about to use or just used.

Hooooooly crap that was an incredibly painful read.

Hey, I get you. I also appreciate your respectful disagreement, which seems to be lacking today.

Oh boy! It’s Kosh, the master of Whataboutism!

It doesn’t matter what I think. You get that, right?

I don’t know. Are you paying taxes to those societies?

What the fuck is wrong with you?

They work and pay taxes. They deserve representation.

That is not what this law is proposing.

I haven’t responded to many of these comments, but this one is particularly exemplary of the problem here.
