Lots of car publications are getting around 4 seconds flat in 0-60 on the standard SS. I assume GM is just conservative with their numbers and that we will see a similar outcome with the SS 1LE when it’s performance numbers are tested by all the usual suspects?

I hated my time driving on the Autobahn. I was in an A6 Avant and I wanted to go about 100-110 mph which felt comfortable for the car and was a reasonable balance of speed and economy.

What I found is that everyone in the right lane was travelling 65 mph and everyone in the left lane wanted to travel 150 mph. The drive

You may not be joking, but you are incorrect just the same. As has been pointed out, electrocuted is to death by electric shock as drowning is to death by submersion in/inhaling water.

No but see he’s cool because something happened he didn’t like and he quit an otherwise good show for this one thing. And then he came here on the internet to tell us about it.

Thank you for this. Shamefully I enjoyed Sucker Punch as just like stupid popcorn movie with attractive people and silly effects. I didn’t really pay attention to the story at all or anything about it. In fact I had completely forgot what it was ‘about’ and only remembered it being silly. I would hear people express

Are auto loans failing at a higher % than normal, or is the default rate flat, and the increase in amount due to more loans being underwritten in general?

I didn’t get the reference to Shogun as an example of that trope. That dude isn’t ‘better’ at anything in the book, in fact the biggest takeaway is that he learns that taking baths is good for you.

I think laser IMAX 3D is actually something beyond regular 3D.

I agree strongly that episode 2 is the worst of them all, but i think I do prefer Episode 7 to Episode 6, just every so slightly. If we are forced to rank them that is, otherwise I would say they are both equally good with some strengths and some weaknesses.

I saw it in Laser 3D IMAX at the Chinese theater and I must say the 3D really impressed me. I have never enjoyed a movie in 3d before, but I think maybe that is the right technology to see TFA in.

I think the sweet spot is the GT Premium, no performance pack, no recaros. If you aren’t going to be taking the car to the track, the performance pack will make it a busier ride, with having to shift way too soon, reduced MPG on highway trips, and the recaros are just not as comfortable to sit in as the standard, and

Key plot point to American Gods.

Car seats, children, short people will all ‘fit’ in the back. I think if you’re taller than 5’6” [167cm] then you’re going to have a problem with the roofline/leg room. I think my wife and her mom would just barely fit back there in a pinch, but it wouldn’t be easy to get in/and out of.

I disagree on the $2500 PP being ‘required’. If you never plan on tracking the car, and this is basically a big, fast, comfortable GT car for you and your significant other, then the standard diff and softer suspension is more desireable. Plus you get the added benefit of decent highway MPG. I’ve seen people averaging

Wouldn’t it be more accurate to say ‘Worker at VW plant killed by heavy machinery?’ It’s not as though the robot was angry at that human and decided to kill it. This is more like ‘man run over by forklift’ than the ‘robot kills human’ headline that’s being used.

Because of the functional utility?

You don’t have concerns about the long term durability of the drivetrain?

To be fair I ended up excluding the M235i and the Fiesta ST for reasons. Fiesta ST just too small for me and M235i just not a good enough value to this young man of the jewish upbringing. The GTI was disappointing because I don’t care for the seats in the SE version and I HATE the sunroof that doesn’t have an opaque
