It’s just that I’m in the market for a new car Soon(tm) and I’ve seriously looked at everything from a Fiesta ST to an M235i. I can’t imagine I’m a completely unusual buyer. I just value lots of different things about cars, to varying levels.

The engine is just a longer stroke version of the 2.0? I’m asking, because I don’t know. However it will also have a bigger turbo, and bigger intercooler, and lots of beefier bits to handle the extra torque and HP. It must be heavier overall.

The Focus is no doubt more practical, and anyone claiming otherwise is objectively wrong.

Do we know anything about the weight of this car? The bigger engine and AWD system will certainly make it heavier than the ST, right? Along with that, the parasitic drain of the AWD system, and I wonder if this won’t be that much more fun than the Focus ST is? And isn’t the Fiesta ST more fun than the Focus ST? And…

Side by side the new Camaro still isn’t better looking than the Mustang. BUT it is probably a better driving car, with a better performing engine. It’s going to be a tough decision next year.

This card is so hard to justify if your main interest is the performance of the car though. You could get a Mustang GT for $33k that will have 100+ more HP and RWD. Seems like you end up paying A LOT for the 5 door utility.

RS3 with the 5 cyl engine much better choice than a Golf R with a tuned ECU IMO.

Problem is, the Ecoboost takes quite a few options to get good. Once you get the performance pack and the good seats in a base Ecoboost, you're knocking on the door of $30,000. And no matter what sounds Ford pumps into the cabin, you'll be jealous of anyone that has a V8 and wish you saved for a bit longer.

I'm the opposite, I want the tartan seats and the rearview camera/touch entry, but don't want a sunroof and don't want leather seats. So to get the few things I want I have to take a bunch of stuff I don't want.

How could you not talk about Hannibal. That show is so great. I really hope people tune in for season 2. NBC does such a terrible job of promoting their shows.

On the other hand I think that season 2 doesn't start for like... 5 months, so maybe that's why you didn't mention it.

A game which has nice production values and is fun if you have non-gamers or young gamers. I wouldn't suggest this to anyone I know though. Expensive, not very deep, extremely random and swingy gameplay.
