K24 was a fantastic engine, though I agree it could have used more edge rather than less vs. the 8th gen.

9th gen was the Civic’s high water mark but the 6th generation was an amazing standout for its era, and the early gens were also excellent cars for their time. The 8th gen doesn’t move me, TBH.

As much as the ‘P’ word puts this deep into smoky cracky territory, the state of the car’s body tells you that the seller has his shit together. You could use that thing as a mirror. IF I were a project kind of guy, I might actually trust that this body and that V8 might have a happy and successful marriage.

I bought one of the last new ones, and I honestly want to own it until I can put classic plates on.  Who knows if the drivetrain will hold out that long, but I plan to drive it not too crazy and hope for the best.
