“I said I would fix it, no need to remind me for 27 years" came to mind.

Just another car to fix in their shop but it’s going to take Sue at least 2 weeks to get the crap stains out of the upholstery and it’s going to cost extra.

Car and Driver is about the only car mag I can read anymore. They still have that sense of humor and variety of articles that originally attracted me to them. Plus, they actually review cars I could potentially drive, not just supercars. I hope this isn’t as bad as it sounds.

It is always easier to beg forgiveness than ask permission.

While watching the FIFA World Cup a few weeks ago, my boss noticed players sitting in race car seats, and ordered me to figure out why.

Then I get the financing lined up, where the early payment penalty is usually 90 days, and on day 91 I call up and pay it off in full.

The only problem with Town Cars are the air-bags, but I think almost every one I’ve seen has been swapped to struts, so that’s not much of an issue this late in the game.

Yeah, I was doing some math on this in another thread and it turns out in my particular case, if I needed something the size of a Suburban more than 15 days of the year, it would actually be cheaper for me to drive a Suburban all year long than it would be to drive a smaller car and rent a Suburban when needed. And

CJ? cabin? Does not compute. Exhaust fumes may come by for a visit in my CJ5, but they promptly leave again.

Oh that CB750! My second bike was exactly like that and in the same color. What a kick in the pants it was....

The bigger, more high-tech cruise ships use azipods and bow thrusters. The pods can swivel usually 360 degrees allowing for massive freedom of movement, and the bow thrusters aide dramatically.

Why rent when you can test drive on Craigslist for free?

Do scars count?

I find it hilarious that in DE I am not required to wear a helmet but if I chose to wear a helmet it has to be DOT approved. Snell doesn’t count

I live in a free country too, but my house is run by a dictatorship.

So...they stood around watching while nineteen people in a not-so-high-income part of Detroit suffered triple-digit (if not more) losses to their private property instead of, oh, I don’t know, parking their fucking news van somewhere it fucking BLOCKED the fucking pot hole? Or lighting fucking flares? Or putting

I see what you did there...

I suggest a new nickname for Austin Dillon after pulling this move:

I disagree. Gliders are often used in applications like dry bulk and tanker work where engines must be idled to on/off load product. Use a modern dPF/Def engine and it won’t last a year before everything is clogged up from the soot it tries to filter out but can’t. Truckers can afford the new trucks, gliders aren’t

I can has 8V92? or 12V71?
