It's easy to harp on costs when the cars they're referring to are one-off concepts and prototypes. Like hybrids, costs of electric cars will come down once they pick up main stream consumer support.

5. I like the Omni. Not particularly attractive, but wicked fast. Still find those tearing up the local autocrosses regularly.
@Syrax: I've been particularly impressed by Hyundai lately, they're probably the only Korean brand I'd consider right now. But if you've got the Euro Focus down there I'd be leaning that way over the i30.
Will somebody please chrome their Prelude so we can be done with this already?
@TimTim:
@skaycog - Got Beer?: Yep, I noticed Flathead Smith promoted his own in Blog Vs Bob, Ash had a pithy one-liner promoted in Hottest Genesis Coupe, Deartháir's latest Stud Beefpile installment was grayed out in GT-R SpecM, and in the QOTD there was your double post, a reply by Maymar, and ArtForge's comment.

Ahh, the man burns in fiery hell attempting to please the woman... except in this case the man is the woman and the car is the man so... oh, never mind. Congrats on COTD Tempesjo!
Hmm, an overview of how to screw GM, who was bailed out financially by the federal govenrment, who is supported exclusively by money from taxpayers, a group to which many of us Jalopnik readers belong, so we'd essentially be taking money out of our own pockets... Ray, did you just tell us to "go #$@& yourselves"?
@Neener: Regardless of whether the green movement is the future (I never said it wasn't), this car does not break new ground in that, or any other, realm. I didn't suggest this car was without a purpose. Purpose is not the issue, top speed is not the issue. An exclusive electric car is not a new idea, this is not…
@maximum-sienna: I had 2 years of HS Spanish, they never taught us to curse or insult people's lineage. The only useful things I learned are: how to find the bathroom, how to order another beer, and how say I've got a cat in my pants.
I'm not going to comment on the styling, if renderings is all they have then all they've got is an idea for a 200 MPH electric car... A very impractical idea to start with. Yes, we can power cars with electric motors, the constant torque makes for wonderful acceleration and limitless possibilities for exceeding…
This whole 'ring rivalry thing has been blown out of proportion. This is less about who beat who around the 'ring and more about what percentage of the cars in GT5 will be a GT-R.
See, only took the weekend for Fritz to put out the gag order on that little escapade. Maximum Bob is still Fritz' bitch, he's on a short leash.
@Mobius: And I wish I had more opportunities to see European sports cars. It's all about what's unique to you, which is how hot rods came about in the first place. Whatever it takes to make your car unique.
@DarthLefty: It's like a walk-a-thon or a charity 5k run.
Peak HP and Torque numbers don't really translate where the rubber meets the road. I'll take marginal gains throughout the rev range over a significant peak increase. Of course, when you've already got "incinerate at will" type power adding more is a bit indulgent.
I could try to fill up five slots, but I'd just be making stuff up. B5 S4 is the only sedan I've really lusted after for any significant amount of time. Sure the E39 M5 is a great car, along with a slew of RS4s, RS6s, and various M3s, but I'm finding out lately that the luxury thing isn't really for me. So count…
