If there were still parties ( not the political type),you would be the person in the corner that eveyone makes a point of avoiding,lest you be drawn into adult conversation.

It feels like this article-- and many others-- are completely disconnected from the basic fact that Biden won the nomination decisively in large part because he was the overwhelming choice of female voters...especially female voters of color.

How do we reconcile this attitude toward Biden’s nomination and his selection of Harris with the reality that Black women represent the voting base of the Democratic party and that their votes propelled Biden to securing the nomination?

VPs are generally not announced until right before the convention. As I check my watch, it looks to be before the convention this year as well.

I look forward to his inevitable slip up where he turns to the camera, reads his talking points card, and says, “WHITE POWER!” Then the moderator for the first time ever - jumps up on the stage to declare the debate over and say that Pence has “won.”

Nobody cares or listens to Pence anyway. Trump only picked him to appeal to bible thumpers, and because he HAD to pick somebody.

On the debate about renewable energy, Harris will say something intellectual, poignant, and very Democratic. Pence will merely give an 80 degree salute toward the TV camera and retort “American power!” White people will jizz themselves silly.

Oh, I think when it comes to riling up Rump’s white-supremacist base, a black woman VP will do the trick quite nicely. Joe “Gaffe King” Biden has never excelled at extemporaneous speaking. It used to be endearing; now it’s disconcerting.

Indeed. I don’t hate Biden, I just prefer other candidates (Sanders and Warren). I still see him as better option against Trump, even if he’s a very lean center-to-left moderate. HECK, I would have voted him over Clinton in 2016 if he ran back then.

We’ve at least seen Joe in action with President Obama. You know his heart is in the right place. I’d vote for him if he picked Flavor Flav for his VP. Bottom line is true that Donald Trump must go!
