No, she sued them, she just failed to win. Sueing doesn't mean you win. It just means you take them to court and try to get them to pay. Trying to sue but not sueing would mean something like she tried to find a lawyer to take the case and could not so gave up or the court threw it out before she could even take it to

I dunno. I can see the argument easily that just making a game hard does not make it better (I don't fall into the whole trap of "games are too easy, saves suck, blah blah blah). But in this case (judging from what little I know of the game, which is only that if you enchant something it might break), I like the game

People say this but I doubt it is in Sony's best interest to purposely ramp up price like that especially when they aren't trying it anywhere else and I doubt Brazil is a big market so they wouldn't get much and most likely chase away any market they could get there.

I really don't see Sony doing this on purpose, it

Well technically an xbox as an "entertainment system" ;) (or whatever MS is trying to market it as now).

Well from what I hear one thing is that xbox does have some units made in Brazil and they don't tax those near as much (I'm betting the hefty taxes are precisely to get more companies to bring their business there. Looks like it works too as Sony is considering moving some manufacturing there as well).

Yes, that would be it! I loved that game. And then I discovered some racing game where you collected green bubbles for gas? and you could shoot your opponents and they might turn to bubbles that gave you boosts/gas/something! I remember a skiiing vacation where we passed through Vegas a day so my parents left me at an

Female here, I was hanging out at the arcade when I could (which wasn't much but I did like going there). I mostly went for the driving games though cause those were the only ones I was any decent at (never been good at video games but still enjoy them). And Pac Man. Pac Man was probably my first video game (and my

Oh they'll argue the government though is inefficient so it will be expensive that way.

I have news for them, any large organization, even their beloved for profit organizations, are inefficient. It's called anything with large bureaucracy and paperwork. Insurance companies aren't near as efficient as they would like

And to add on, they have to make money doing so too. So they are very motivated to make sure they pay as little out as possible.

I don't think you understand the complaint. The complaint is they are going to develop the game with multiplayer in mind and have a pitiful single player experience if you don't want to play that way. It's already kinda happening with many games that are more known for their multiplayer that just have a single and

I disagree. I have a lot more sympathy for him after that movie *Shrug*.

Just think though, you are taking a chance with them cause you see how they will handle any sort of hiccup.

Unfortunately, since I've only seen this news on reddit/r/ps4 (with very few replies), neogaf (only a 2 page thread) and here, coupled with the fact I doubt console buyers are a large market at Target (I bet they only really sell a few compared to gamestop or amazon), I doubt Target will hear much of an outrage. I'm

Dear sir, we just can't be bothered to care. Thank you, have a nice day.

This is totally on Target, not Sony. Every other retailer has found a way to make sure people will still get their consoles. Target is being so ultra lazy they can't even be bothered to spend a little effort to offer the people who pre -ordered first dibs on the freed up consoles before they put them back on sale

Gee, gosh.. you're comparing consoles that are years older to your current console (and I just thought it was one gamestop employee being silly when he was bragging to me back when the Wii U came out that it was better than PS3/xbox 360). It better damn well be able to do better than they can!!! If it could only even

You know, I won't even argue the tech specs at all.

I'll just say, no. My mom sent me a wii once. I had a hard enough time finding any games I wanted for that (I mostly like 3rd party games and not a huge fan of Nintendo games). And then I could barely sell it for enough to even justify a PS3 (and that is with the Fit

Doesn't matter, they obviously found some way to sell those consoles without the game cause now they "magically" have pre orders available where everyone else is completely sold out (Amazon isn't even taking orders for PS4s if you want to get one when they get them back in stock). I wonder where those consoles they

I will fully admit I have no issue with Gamestop. Yeah, they give horrible resale value, but if you want the best value, why are you selling to a place that needs to sell it to make money? Sell directly to some one who wants the game instead (who won't need to be able to sell it at a higher price than they bought it).

Honestly, I hope Target gets a lot of hell for this. I cannot imagine a worse way they could have handled this. I seriously can't. The only way I could imagine them being worse was if they actively were trying to piss off their customers (and honestly, this almost feels like they were it is that bad).
