Ah, you're country is sane.
Ah, you're country is sane.
No no no, you got it wrong... you mean Bethesda actually finally released Fallout 4 like we've been crying out for?!
Heh, and that's exactly what I'm interested in doing in GTA V. Honestly, I could care less about the story. Hell, the characters look kinda boring to me imho. What looks exciting is just messing around town and finding all the random stuff you could do. I just wish I could do it with a character I found somewhat…
Yeah, except they're fooling the republican followers too... my parents love Fox News cause it tells them what they want to hear (and they are die hard Republicans, mostly for the economy but I swear watching Fox is pulling them into all the crazy crap too. Doesn't help they also have loved Rush Limbaugh since I can't…
I'd watch what you say on the internet... sadly people have been arrested for saying similar things. Recently too.
It's Fox News. They are good at twisting things. They'll find an angle to it (watch, they'll find a way to pin it on the other news sources).
Gah, my parents are like this *sigh*. They're not dumb either. The problem is that Fox News tells them what they want to hear (and that is how Fox News works honestly. They know their market, they know what their market wants to hear. They twist things around so they can tell their market what they want to hear).
Or alternatively it might just mean that even using correlation is no proof of games causing violence (cause if it caused violence, you are right, you should see women having these issues too since they also play video games <- is one right here and some of the games I play are stuff like Assassin's Creed or the…
Nope, but one uses small government as their rallying cry to get support.
This I have to agree with. There are some games I play to relax and some I play cause I like to get immersed (I would never play TLOU to relax). Assassin's Creed and GTA ironically are ones I'd play to relax (basically cause I can't get into the story or take the main story seriously, I just like the gameplay).
No one wants to hear that. Cause that is complicated (there are issues on what is ethical to do when some one might be mentally ill) and might mean they might have to throw money at the problem (better mental care).
It's just easier to blame something like video games or guns. Ban 'em. Simple as that. No money thrown…
I'm female actually ;). And the reason I feel compelled to wait is budget. I have no excuse and plenty of other games to keep my time and if I wait it will get cheaper. I'm just not good at waiting or having willpower ;) (plus I am actually curious about Witcher cause I have a feeling Witcher 3 will be the excuse I…
Because 1. I don't have a PC so I don't have to compare. 2. Even if I did I couldn't afford a top rig anyways so I'd still prolly have to play it on lower settings 3. Graphics have gotten good enough now that while it being prettier is nice it's not really adding enough that I care much. I'm more interested in how…
That's the thing, some people don't care. And they'll stop playing the game cause it's too tedious. But I'm sure there are plenty of people who do care (I know that three people on this thread all expressed that they liked being able to walk through). That's why these open world games are so popular and some people…
Quit making me want this game damnit! I have no justification as I already have a backlog of games to play (and good ones. I still haven't finished Fallout NV and I got Witcher 2 waiting for me).
Uh, who are you to tell people how they should play the game? The whole point of an open world game is for people to find their own way to play. You and I prefer not using quick travel and having to deal with that stuff, other people don't. How does how they play the game ruin it for you? Just don't play that way!
It does destroy immersion. But as long as the game doesn't force you to use quick travel, why do you care if they give the option to people who want it? I never use quick travel cause I agree with you. But there's no reason to not want it in the game unless they them remove not quick traveling (which for an open world…
It's funny I was kinda thinking that but then I was like, well, run the video and see how long it really feels. 6 minutes on paper is different than actually going through it. And yes, that is a pretty big world.
Is it weird that just seeing how varied and actually real the world felt (at least the highway seemed very nostalgic back to some roadtrips I've done) is what makes me want the game most (I'm trying to hold off cause I'm on a budget and I already have a backlog of games right now. Still haven't finished Fallout NV and…
Actually, according to some comment on reddit (which means I have no verification of this), MS when they announced the xbox gave the media a list of names they preferred them not use to call it, including hte xbone... which begs the question: If it was even that obvious that they needed to ask the media not to use the…
