My 03 didn't rattle, but I did hate it from day 2 onward. Seats were no good, ergonomics did not fit me, too much road and wind noise, and it never did better than 26mpg, which was the whole reason I got the stupid thing. Selling that and buying a pair of dirtbikes was way better.
